Myung Wol goes Hanadan

So, after watching ep 6, I couldn't leave it like this and had to watch ep 7 raw. And lots of things happened, but it was this one scene that made me giggle and swoon and die...



So, Myung Wol gets kidnapped by some gangsters (no idea if for eal or orchestrated by her NK buddies without her knowledge or what) and they tie her up and basically threaten her with harm unless Kang Woo shows up to some abandoned warehouse. So Kang Woo does (!!!!) and even though he's totally outnumbered and is not the world's greatest fighter, he still tries to fight them (I love that he does even though he knows he's no match). Of course, he loses, and he's about to get his head bashed in but MW manages to free herself and comes to his rescue and takes on all the attackers as he's staring wide-eyed.






































Seriously, this drama made me like a beta male :P

hehe, I immediately thought of 'Meteor Garden' at this scene too! I love how MW saves KW every single time and always in a kick-ass manner. But my poor repressed Ryu, KW keeps beating him to rescuing MW and he ends up guarding over MW in the shadows. I'd be more than happy to un-repress him. :p

LOL, have not seen this ep but OF COURSE this scene would end like this. Kang-woo can merely act like a badass, Myeongwol legit IS one. :DDD

You know I dont think that Kang Woo really counts as a beta, maybe not a traditional alpha but not a beta either. Like, when he's in his element kang woo is very much in charge and he's not really nice enough in general to be beta. like he's egotistical and selfish and a total diva but he's also afraid of snakes and can't fight off ten guys at once, because when he's not being a hallyu star he's a typical man he's not a super man. Which I like, he's good at this one thing but he's average or below average in everything else, like most normal people with the exception that he's much more into himself than the average person lol. He doesnt have the personality of being quietly supportive, sweet and willingness to sit in the background that a beta would have. though he can be sweet, and it was pretty heroic of him to go for myung wol despite how he was outnumbered. so yeah, I think he's a hard to define one I'd say. (not that you cant call him what you like i just wanted to offer a counter point)
