1. The awesome mookiehyun has just informed me that the upcoming drama 楚汉传奇 (not sure how to translate that), an extravaganza about Liu Bang/Xiang Yu rivalry has signed my ultimate ahjusshi crush Chen Jian Bing (i.e. Cao Cao in Three Kingdoms). I have no idea who he is going to play - Liu Bang, Xiang Yu, or Consort Yu, for all I care! I am so beyond psyched. He's an amazing actor with a huge screen presence and scarily sexy to boot. YESSSS. Peter Ho is apparently signed up as well, also not sure as who. This makes me so happy i can almost forgive Yu Zheng for his upcoming take on the same story, which is pretty much murder of history as we know it.

2. Text preview for City Hunter ep 17 is out.

YS was surprised at meeting the president at the library. the two of them managed to talk for a while and the warm/humane side of the president is revealed.
On the other hand, during the Blue House luncheon, Nana who's now the president's bodyguard becomes nervous once she sees Jin Pyo and Cheon Jae Man appearing at the luncheon. Yoon Sung is also present at the luncheon when an incident breaks out where the president becomes the target...

I don't even know! Except I am hoping this will bring Nana and YS back together - she should ask for more than a back hug and a "don't go, please" though.

3. And to help to while the time until Wednesday, I found some more awesome CH mvs.

4. Video preview for ep 7 of Heartstrings is out and makes me v.v. happy.

I looooove that Gyuwon is telling Shin off and giving him the cold shoulder (and that he's the one chasing her now. The bus scene, awwww). Because it's not unrealistic for a college girl to be temporarily made stupid by her crush, but that's the thing - it's a crush so once she saw he was being a jerk, she pretty much got cured. (See Pick the Stars for a very satisfying use of that trope).


5. Stuff that does not make me happy? But sort of does.

There is nothing wrong with the WBDS mv except it seems to indicate DS/Lady is the OTP and the awesome Tomboy and Assassin are both one-sided which annoys the hell out of me. DS/Lady is the least appealing of all the options and DS/Tomboy and Lady/Assassin are so much more promising and dramatic. Oh well.

This is the OTP that I want, dammit:



Seriously, I am not a creepy Noona a la a lot of Yoo Seung Ho fans, but I will say that at least in stills he has a proper intensity and a very cool vibe even if he's too young for me to drool over.




6. Preview for the final ep of Miss Ripley is out.

Don't die, Miri!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, since Yuhyun's hair is wet, does it mean he jumped in to rescue her? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

And yessss to the episode 7 preview of Heartstrings, finally, is that some prolonged OTP interactions I spot?

I'm waiting for them to age up to start WBDS, but just from your description and caps I also want to ship Tomboy with DS XD

The song from WBDS makes me sad. I mean, come on. I just can't belive that they would pair up DS/lady. From the kiddie episodes it seemed to be set up as two distinct pairings.

Can't the tomboy get someone though? It would be a waste for her to end up alone. Maybe she can end up with Yoo Seung Ho? Reaching I know....but both of those two are way to good to be secondary characters.

I've lost my inner fangirl screaming voice. I absolutely missed the part they stated in article Chen DM will be playing LiuBang, CJB is our XiangYu.

Like I said, either way, I LOVE this. lovelovelovelovelove. This is a safer casting, CDM has a more 'aristocratic' air to him and we've seen how beastly in every good way of the word CJB was in SanGuo. I swear I've been an extremely good girl in eyes of dramagod unbeknownst to me my whole life for this to be true.

PD GuoXixi is saying he's still in talks of casting three more A-listers. They will all have to be fine with paycuts to make this work, but I bet they'll. I can't stop to think if HXM may be added to the interesting crazy top thespian milieu off top of my head. He burst into scene with a solidly good historical, and he was so promisingly GOOD, went the different route of topidolstar fr then on successfully, but how I missed that green HXM, brimming with promise of more serious acting chops with the right direction.

We'll have stills end of month, will keep you posted.

That's pretty amazing. That's my fantasy casting - mmmmm. Seeing that I adore CJB as Cao Cao, who was the bad guy, seeing that he is playing someone I actually like this time - yessss. I'll probably cry buckets when he dies.

I have to say that much as I like Daniel Wu and FSF, he is going to blow them out of the water (not even touching the Ming Dao comparison).

If Lady/DS is the main OTP, then I'd have to assume that someone not in the know wrote the last 2 1/2 episodes, as it was pretty blatantly setting up Tomboy/DS and Assassin/DS as the central relationships, and Tomboy as the female lead. Also, after all the bonding and adolescent crushing with Tomboy/Ds with Lady just wanting DS to leave her alone pretty much, I can't help but think they're shooting themselves in the foot if they go Lady/DS.

Yeah, it seems kinda odd. I am still tending towards that they may be initial OTP and she might never like assassin, but tomboy/DS is the endgame.

The DS/Lady stuff in the video seemed to be more about Assassin and Tomboy than about DS and Lady themselves, particularly Tomboy. For that matter, the fact that she's there during the kiss makes me think that's not what it looks like, or is a goodbye. My theory is that DS and Lady fall for each other when he and Assassin are escorting her, then she gives him the "we can never be" speech and goes to Sado, and he then falls for Tomboy.

I am watching ep six of heartstrings and gyu won's crush is driving me nuts. he's so mean to you! WHY DO YOU LIKE HIM? GIRL HAVE SOME DIGNITY. oh well I guess its pretty realistic for such a young woman to fall in love with the aloof badboy just from proximity but it is a bit lame. I think i just plain dont get it when girls fall in love first unless the guy is a sweetheart or something. shin wake up and get over the boring ballerina!

I had a nightmare last night about CH about it ending with Nana and YS apart - I'd prefer it that they both died than that, honestly.

I too have been searching through all the CH vids I can find, and I am flabbergasted with the amount of love I have for these two. I keep thinking about how much HE has saved her. If he was the 'killing machine' undaddy wants him to be she would have been dead dozens of times over. She is his 'weight' that keeps him grounded in sanity, but he is always THERE for her in more ways than just taking a bullet from her or catching her before she falls. He is there in unspoken ways he probably doesn't even know about. I was thinking about that when he was holding the knife to her neck when she surprised him. How easy it would be for him to 'accidentally' cut her open. He didn't, and as good as he is fighting all those times he took her beatings? Another example. Does she realize this? I would hope so, but she hasn't seen him fight for real yet I don't think. I would like something where she sees him (like w/ the protesters), and realizes that he keeps her safe all the time.

I am sure she realizes it - she knows he'd have to be excellent at fighting and I am sure she's obsessed analyzed everything. But a scene like you propose would be wonderful.

I do agree he saves her in every way - and not just her life or her house or her father. Remember the scary guy with a knife? or cheering her up when she's depressed etc.
