Heartstrings poll

I am considering whether to put aside Heartstrings and get back to it once Shin falls head-over-heels for Gyu Won (I am sure my kind flist would apprise me of when this happens).

It's a very popular pattern in kdramas to have a guy pine for annoying or evil secondary girl at first (my first and second ever kdramas - Full House and Goong - both had this). But it's one thing to put up with it once you have the entire drama to marathon and thus can ff over those early parts/get to the shipping quickly (as was the case for me with both FH and Goong). It's another when you have to wait to weeks to get it with nothing to do but stew at the idiot hero. I am getting to the point where I just want to stab Shin in his stupid (but alas, handsome) face.

So, what do you think?

I'll keep you posted on it... because I kinda enjoy watching unrequited love angst, regardless of whether it comes from the hero or the heroine :P

Yay i love this poll! LOL poor director no one finds his relationship with gyu won cute. Personally so far it hasnt been that bad but my issue is when it goes from him ruffling her hair and encouraging her in the musical, which is fine to him seriously romantically pursuing her, THAT would be very creepy and wrong. till then I dont really mind his scenes with gyu won, and I almost like him when he's doing his director thing and not being a jerk to his ex/weepy ballerina.
and dont stop watching now! I look forward to your posts about the drama ;_; I am not bored so far even though I keep expecting to be but I am just really intrigued by the whole art school environment, and by the musical production and not to mention the OTP and ki young. I will watch this diligently till the end!
I really prefer overeater with bo un to bitchy girl even though i generally like the combo of sweet guy/cranky girl but so far this one isnt doing it for me, again cause overeater is TOO sweet and goofy while bullimic chick is just shrill without being witty or sharp. which is what separates a fierce bitch from a basic bitch. bullimic girl is just basic.

seriously, just wait. I wish I had enough self-control because this is just frelling annoying. I signed up for a cute youth drama with oodles of PSH and JYH making eyes at each other, not for some idiotic older woman/younger man "let's kill screentime" romance. The drama's just killing time right now, it's so obvious.

I think I might be only one here that only watch this show because of So Yi Hyun since I adore her in Gloria.. Unfortunately so many hate for her.. might be better to stop watching this & leave the fandom

Haha so many think the director's a creeper. I have no idea how old she is in the drama but the rl difference is 11 years and I have no issue with that at all. Professor/student is more inappropriate but in fiction bothers me... not much. XD

But the thing is, she's 20 and he's 31, not he's 41 and she's 30, which is a whole other ballgame and I would be OK with. She's almost still a kid which makes it gross.

I'm only reading the recaps, not even watching it until Shin falls in love with GW- having the main lead pining for another girl is such a big pet peeve of mine that I can't even watch it until he falls for the main girl- What Happened in Bali was really hard to watch in the first episodes for exactly this reason, but it gets so good after that...because both guys were so obsessively in love with the heroine a little later
