Barely in it but eeee - so good, such a mellow antidote to adrenaline of City Hunter.

Also, Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa's chemistry should be illegal.

Sole flaw is the adults - they are all beyond boring, not to mention ballerina is a watering pot (I bet she has rheumatism from the constant damp) and secondary guy is a petty, ego-tripping, immature jerk. Your ex dumped you 6 yrs ago? Stop trying to get back at her all this time later in front of her colleagues. talk about unprofessional!

Park Shin Hye is so natural in this role and charismatic. Jung Yong Hwa is also doing much better than he started off with and I'm really liking his character. He does antagonize her but not to a OTT level and they have adorable very realistic interactions. I'm glad it's not intense hate at first sight because you do not end up liking someone you really dislike no matter how hot they are haha.

I also LOVE the music in this episode. You will see why! And yes, the producer and ballerina can gtfo.

I feel that everyone is comfortable now in their roles and the drama is starting to have its tone.

Also, when you get to episode 4 I would really love to hear your thought on her (the main girl) and the director. Am I the only one that sees something there? Is the drama trying for a romantic relation or a brotherly one? I can't figure it out.

Also, I finished Worlds Within. I can see why people either loved it or hated it. But I loved it! It's really not the typical kdrama and it took me two tries to warm up to it, but I just loved the way it was directed and narrated. It reminded me of one those HBO or AMC American series. I still think that there wasn't a really big gigantic main plot but I loved all the little plots going on between the characters and how it was completely related to day-to-day life. Also, artistically speaking the drama was beautiful.

I think they are trying to go for romantic tension which is misguided because it kinda creeps me out.

Yup, WW really makes me think of an indie, Western series. I loved it so much because it was one of those incredibly rare dramas which made me feel it could be real.

darkeyedwolf and I agreed that we would KILL for Jung Yong Hwa/PSH makeouts...because if this is how mcuh chemistry they have through mere eye contact, the screen will practically explode if they make out.

sadly, being a youth drama, chances are very low.

all the adult storylines are teethgrindingly dull and need to vanish asap. Ballerina woman is a charisma-suck.

Goong had amazing make-outs and was a youth show and this previous PD's dramas were makeout-heavy Worlds Within and Coffee House so there is hope.

I feel so bad for actress playing ballerina. She was one of my ultimate favorites in Gloria and was half of my fave otp last year:



but here she is awful because has nothing to work with

Just finished ep 3 and it was adorbs; I love the energy this drama has. I agree about the adults though, their storyline bores me to tears - I just ff and rely on dramabeans' recap to get the gist of their scenes XD

I feel sorry for the actors playing the adults - Song Chang Ui and So Yi Hyun - they are both very talented people. It must be so boring to play their characters. What's worse is the amount of hate poor SYH is getting on message boards - solely because Jung Yong Hwa's character has a crush on her. Poor girl, had to be stalked by Creepy in Gloria and is now receiving death threats from Chinese fans. . .


As for the younger cast - they are all very cute. Lots of chemistry between the leads and JYH's band mate is adorkable. I haven't officially began watching it, but from what I've skimmed, the show has a nice mellow vibe. It's not the best made show out there, but it's got a good feeling to it.

Death threats????!!! WTF. I mean, I find her character ridiculously boring and irritating and would rather she moved to Australia in the next ep, but they can't differentiate btw actress and character?

Poor SYH got the worst end of the stick. Some people (GF over at dramabeans is one) actually like Song Chang Ui's character but nobody likes hers.

Yes. People at Chinese message boards are saying she's ugly and are saying they want to kill her because the male lead's character likes her. Apparently, they want the two guys to fight over PSH. . .or something. It's nearly as bad at soompi - people hate the character and are annoyed with SYH.

I really loved SYH in Gloria, so I'm hoping her character wakes up and decides to do something. (Just not fight for her student, please. I actually find SCU's character annoying and slightly creepy.
