I am not yet one of those people who RPShips costars because they have great chemistry. But I am completely fascinated by Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young as costars because they are completely insane together on-screen. So imagine my amusement and squee when someone on soompi mentioned they were in a drama together in 2007, years before CH - she playing the female lead and LMH, who was a couple of years away from Boys Over Flowers (thank you thank you thank you Jang Geun Seok for not wanting to play GJP in BOF) and stardom back then, playing a supporting character. Heeee. And they apparently had scenes together!



Oh my God, they are so young! I am almost tempted to check it out but I know it would drive me insane not to have LMH as a lead so best not.

And speaking of City Hunter, I think this may be my favorite official drama still of all time (also from soompi):







Is it hot here or is it just me?

I actually got to episode 13 before I gave up. I found that it was actually making me angrier and angrier the more I watched and no Hana Yori Dango adaptation is allowed to make me feel that way, so that was the end of that.

Maybe I'll just finish Personal Taste instead. ;)

I liked Personal Taste! I watched it after I started City Hunter and needed something to fulfill my daily Lee Min Ho quota, heeee. It was cute, had nothing on City Hunter though!

I enjoyed BOF for a lot longer than most of my flisties (through ep 15? 16?) but even I ended wanting to defenestrate the screenwriter. God, what a mess. He would have been the perfect Domyouji, too, if only he had something half-sane to work with.

Yup, these two were in I Am Sam together back in the day. I saw this drama when becoming a fan of PMY after watching SKKS. So when I read about their pairing for City Hunter, I knew they would have chemistry. LMH's character in I Am Sam is probably the most different from all the roles that he's played since then because in that show, he was this lazy, beta male but very endearing because he's just so goofy and well, he's LMH.
The drama, however, I would not recommend. I guess those types of hot-for-teacher story ain't my thing coz the OTP was a bit too weird for my taste. Plus, PMY's and Yang Dong Geun's chemistry felt more like big brother and little sis rather than of the romantic type.

By the way, I marathoned 9 episodes of City Hunter in one day and did not go to bed until 3 am.

LMH gets better acting wise, but it is amazing to see the way his Body has transformed too. Compared to his BOF days when he had a hot body (not gonna lie he was steaming), but I just wanted him to eat a hamburger. I liken it to a Great Dane dog (ok ok...give me a minute) mom raised them, and when young they can be gangly and thin looking. Then they get Huge after putting on the adult weight. LMH has obviously put on muscle for this roll. Not fat, Muscle and that picture shows this beautifully. *sigh* He was pretty before...now he makes me wanna bite my tongue.

Feel ya..so feel ya. I find his ability to act hotter than his body, but Good lord isn't it a sin to look that good and be able to blow a scene out the park perfect? It should be...my poor ovaries can NOT take it.

Believe me... you won't miss a thing not watching this old drama. Min Ho's so green here and it shows. Me watched it a bit here and there after my ultimate crack drama BOF and loving pre second half Jun Pyo. He grows so much as an actor.

I watched I Am Sam maybe 4 years ago because my friend and I were interested to watch Top( Big Bang member) in this drama. I have fun watching it because at that time, it's the first high school kdrama that we watched( I even like their school outfits, haha). I only watched it halfway because I was busy with my works but PMY's role is really interesting in this drama. I even want her to be Jandi in BOF because I like her style in I Am Sam. Glad she's not Jandi and choose to work with SKKS team and CH with LMH. I don't really remember LMH's role but I remember he as the most famous guy at their school that really adore PMY's role.

I like their school life but yeah, I don't like teacher-student relationship in this drama. I don't recommend this drama for other people but I don't regret watching it! Maybe because I watched it 4 years ago ;p
