I still think the two male leads are much too young (Yoo Seung Ho is 17 (!!!!) WTF is wrong with casting director!) but the visuals are gorgeous and this looks surprisingly fluid and gritty.

I might check this out after all.

Oh, if only they aged the leads a decade, I'd be spazzing all over this already.

Btw, does your icon means you are watching CH? I am a huge Nana fan - wish more modern kdrama heroines were like her (YS is awesome but kdramas have plenty of cool heroes).

I am on ep 5. calixa is put out that i'm not further into it (I keep getting sidetracked by wanting to make icons and feeling i should finish other things first.)

This'll be the first airing kdrama I've watched since Chuno (not that I kept up with that well) and the first I've watched that's longer than 10 episodes since then.

I was fine with Na Na once I was sure that they weren't going to go the "look at how ickle and cute she is" route, as I've learned that kdramas that focus on the heroine being "cute" end up making me want to throw things (not because of the heroines themselves but because they tend to end up with the heroes and romantic tropes that annoy me the most). I'm surprised that I like Yoon Sung as much as I do, as I tend to not care for most contemporary kdrama heroes (sageuk ones are another story) and the "I am a fake playboy masking my deep need for REVENGE" type doesn't usually work for me, but he does.

(He also makes stalkery type things...uhm...not stalkery and actually sweet.)

I remember being rumored that Kim Bum was going to be the lead but then it was announced the other guy was. He is WAY too young. I thought we learned from Flames of Desire that he is too young be a main character.

Yeah, I couldn't take his character in FoD seriously at all and here this is going to be the same.

Even being a charter member of the ICOMYM club, this may be just a little too pervy even for me.

This drama has an awesome veteran cast,AND a Bidam/Yeom Moon type character...and he's not even legal? Just kill me now!

So sad that I will probably have to pass on this one. :(

I just wish the promos didn't look like they were angling to make Yoo Seung Ho's the more interesting and better developed character than the actual main lead. Ji Chang Wook at 24 is prob. younger than the norm with saguek leads but I'm okay with it. Never seen him in anything, though, so I have no idea about his acting.

It does look rather interesting but oddly enough all I could think was "Hmmmm... by the looks of it Jun Kwang Ryul (Tak Gu's daddy from Baker King) is going to play yet another sorry excuse for a human being". LOL! He does seem to specialise in characters we love to hate.

But yeah, I might check this out now too.
