Still CH 10

I think Undaddy and Prosecutor should both go jump off a bridge. Yoon Sung has his dying mother admitted to the hospital and is going to get tested to see if he's a compatible donor to save her and Undaddy is all "weak bastard, stop him from donation any means necessary." Sure, force the guy into letting his mother die. The same woman who was your best friend's wife and whose kid you kindapped. Die. Die. DIE! And Prosecutor is no better - all he wants is to get his mitts on the blood test, and be damned the fact that if they steal it, there will be nothing to test for a dying person's cure (best case scenario, it will take more time and time is crucial). Undaddy and Prosecutor should team up, both are soulless monsters who ignore humanity in their insane pursuit (and Prosecutor, is your itty bitty ego hurt? Shouldn't you be catching child rapists, murderers, terrorists, etc?)

Also, Mom can't die because that would be beyond cruel - not only did YS never got a childhood, but he'd never have a future with her then either? God, it killed me how her first worry was whether her illness was hereditary - for YS. Oh, Undaddy, you better tremble in your patent leather shoes. The moment YS finds out the truth about how you got your mitts on him, you are toast. He realizes the man's inhumanity and the true mess of his real reason for revenge (and pits himself against it, even as Undaddy threatens his life) but he doesn't know the true depths of Undaddy's monstrosity. How could he, he's sane.

I do love how sane Nana is - she always was the voice of normalcy for him, but is 1000x more so now that she has all the facts. The way she gets past his barriers about his mother to what really matters and the way she doesn't beat around the bush or allow their messed-up romantic dynamic to interfere, is amazing. And she uses her brain - from realizing he is not a murderer, to figuring out who his mother is, to knowing why he is pushing her away and getting past it. She is beyond amazing. And I love that what she sees as fitting revenge (on man who killed her parents) is what he sees as fitting revenge too - they both crave justice and truth, not really revenge. And yeah, he cannot stay away from her, even if he claims it's for work, or for training or even to force her to dislike him. Poor goner. Especially when she's so fearless and open with her love and warmth and he has had so little of it in his life. And she prevented that guy from following him. And saved him from Prosecutor at the end (no way can it now not be in the open that he's the City Hunter and she knows it. Next week, come sooner!)

On a random note, I love that wounds stick in CH. He got shot in ep 7 and as of ep 10 he's still hurt (I love when Nana freaked out when a random dude lightly touched his wounded arm. That should give you a clue, genius, that she's on to you). I also love that they keep mannerisms consistent - after finding out about his mother being ill (his facade is so thin, he yearns for her so), there he is. picking his fingers and nails again, like a kid.

in defense for the Prosecutor, I must say that he only asked for a sample, he didn't take all of it. At first I wanted them to team up, but now it's kinda awesome that there's no clear alliance between ANYONE. The sons' ideals clash with their fathers. The fathers are eternal enemies. The sons are hunting one another. It makes things so much more interesting because YS (and I) can't trust anyone else.

But zomg, I love MinMin in this episodes, as individuals even more than as the OTP. I loved how she said, "I have my rights to my own feelings." Damn straight! I know she'd be in danger sticking around him, but she's proven herself pretty smart since her discovery, and actually helped him tons.

And I think my infatuation for YS just shot through the roof during the window-scaling scene. It was crazy. I couldn't even believe he was doing it without any gadgets. But it was so badass. Swoon~

I also like that except for Nana and Ahjusshi, YS is on his own - the officials want him dead, the prosecutor wants to catch him, and Undaddy is against him too.

You know, this is a rare drama I can see as a multi-seasoner (though I am glad it's not).

I know she'd be in danger sticking around him, but she's proven herself pretty smart since her discovery, and actually helped him tons.


I really hope he will stop pushing her away now but I am worried he'd still try and use Lady Vet for that purpose.

This show is seriously amazing I can't believe I thought that it would suck and I would just watch it to stare at Lee Minho (which I am still doing of course XD) Nana is awesome as well a heroine with brains is so rare and I adore her for it <3

GOD THIS DRAMA IS SO GOOD IT HURTS!

yoon sung just keeps crushing my heart, i want to cuddle him and tell him that in the end everything is going to be alright, even if i don't know that, but i also want to hit him for doing what he did to nana.

nana, oh nana! you badass female! i'm still annoyed that people are acting like she suddenly developed a new personality and brains. am i too biased towards her? because to me she is still herself, the only difference is that she is more aware of the situation around herself.

the dad and the prosecutor annoys me so much, the prosecutor should stop trying to catch the city hunter and focus in the real bad guys, dude if he really wants CH just wait until you fund the real dirty, the guy is helping you out dumbass.

i really hope for nana and yoon sung to team up! she can use her beautiful girly ways to blind the prosecutor and help out yoon sung.... actually, maybe it won't work since the heartless bastard chose to run after the old man instead of saving the girl he apparently likes.

AND THE END, OMG TEH END KILLED ME! ugh this wait is going to kill me. in my perfect world ep 11 would start with him dropping that blade and having hot steamy sex with her right there to show his gratitude. she wouldn't mind, i know i wouldn't.

now i kinda wish to see the prosecutor watching YS and nana being intimate somehow just to see how he would react.

YS is such a good guy who's been dealt such a rotten hand in life, and somehow managed to keep his kindness and decency.

I don't get the 'new personality' thing. She was always smart and fearless, but now she has all the facts. I also love that she is the one person around YS who doesn't keep secrets or plays games.

i love that he still has that pure heart of a boy, which goes on what i believe, while your parents and your upbringing help to define what you are they don't make you who you are. YS was trained to be a soulless warrior, but he is not, he has the heart as big as the moon and i love him for that.

me either, she never was dumb or a scared cat, far from it. but people keep holding the fact that she was mad at YS while she didn't know what he did, against her, that she shot him and that she apparently took too long to know that he was the city hunter. but come on people, she didn't know he was being nice to her, or had a crush on her since he was what, 17?, while he acted like a dickhead in front of her. and she only saw the city hunter once, when he saved her from the balcony, during the shooting day she only saw his back. they are wanting too much.

you are probably right, but i still think he would be annoyed, maybe not because of having feelings for nana, but because it's yoon sung here and the prosecutor can't help but every time he sees yoon sung to have an ego battle. which makes me think every time 'come on guys, just take of your pants already to measure who has the biggest dick'.

me too, believe me too, even if it was just implied (even i would love to actually see it), i need them having sex so i can deal with their sexual tension. oh lord, don't get me started, because i pictured her doing that, like after the sexy times, sitting in bed, wrapped by a blanked/or wearing his shirt, and just tracing her fingers lightly over his scars in his back, asking how he got each one, him telling her how it happened, her kissing his wounds to 'heal' it... okay i better stop it here.

I think I would die, especially since he doesn't normally want to talk about them, or anything personal in his past, at all... (How did he get all those scars, honest? Mind boggles).

I agree, a lot of YJ v. YS stuff is ego, especially on YJ part (to which I want to say, grow up, go catch real crooks!)

Re: Nana. How can they hold the shooting against her? She had no idea who he was (even that he was the same person who saved her) and she is supposed to protect her charge - she didn't know charge was evil, she didn't know CH wasn't going to kill him, etc.

Also, how is she supposed to figure out he is nice to her etc, when she had no info - she was pretty awesome to him despite his surface jerkiness because she sensed there was something more but she had nothing to go on, concretely. Even with her house - how is it her fault she lost her temper when he kept goading her until she did? She has pride.

For YS, it really must have been all nature because he got zero nurture to make him into a decent person. I really really want him to have kids and give them what he couldn't have himself (die, Undaddy, for ruining his childhood!). You can tell how he feels about his wrecked life so I'd love for him to have a second chance.

i think taht with nana knowing that he is the city hunter, maybe he'll slowly open up more about himself, i don't see him telling her right away about undaddy's true nature and such, because i think he'll go with the 'the less she knows, safer she is' kind of thinking, but i just want her to be there for him and i want him to allow her to do so.

idk really and it's funny that the reasons that they hold against her to be dumb and a cowards are the thigns that explain that she is in fact smart and brave. i feel like they are too blinded because of LMH's pretty self and too jealous that she is tapping that ass on screen that they can't see nana's awesome self.

i think that is longing for a normal life, for his mother, made him the way he is, he knew the pain of being abandoned (even if he really wasn’t) and not having a normal life and he doesn’t wish suffering to anyone. well anyone that doesn’t deserve. he also desperately wants to be good because he believes that it's the only way he can have a normal life.

I do hope he opens up to Nana. Even if not now, then later. He's never had anyone to whom he could really open up - even with Ahjusshi, who is the one he allows in the most, he holds all these things back.

Yes, I agree, I think it's his craving for a normal life (a lot of his actions is because while he is OK with risking his life, he can't help but hope he will survive and have normalcy - that hope kills me) that informs so many of his actions. But it says a lot of the kind of person he is that he used that longing so positively, instead of becoming bitter or overly driven.
