Kdrama watch-along query - yay or nay

This season has left me pretty underwhelmed (not that the dramas are bad, they are just not to my taste). Crime Squad is excellent, 49 Days entertaining, and I am back on the New Gisaeng bandwagon but there is no mania drama for me.

OTOH, this May/summer, I am pre-obsessed with Best Love, Festival, Lie To Me and Goodbye Miss Ripley. They are pretty much tied for first place in my anticipation.

I was wondering - would it be fun for me to do a weekly post on each of these where everyone could discuss anything related to these eps as a free-for-all. Sort of the way I used to do watchalong posts but this time for aired dramas and more structured?

This has nothing to do with kdramas, but the trailer for MRXJ's spinoff, also penned by Yu Zheng, he of the crazy ego, was just release. It's 20 minutes long and spoils like wealthy Chinese parents and their only son, but it's pretty much worth it just for the beautiful costuming alone. The cast is something like MRXJ and JPLH mushed together with some new faces (there's a Hong Kong talent and that girl from Infernal Lovers, at first glance).

ALSO BOSS SEASON 2 IS COMING OUT THIS THURSDAY, EVEN WITH EXAMS, I AM VERY MUCH EXCITE.

Btw, have you checked out "Can you hear my heart"? I know you liked "Baker king, Kim Tak Goo", so maybe this would be your thing too. This might be the first time I'm enjoying the child actors so much and don't want the main characters to become grownups that soon.

I'm not really ready to light up with any of these yet though I'm tentatively thinking about checking out at least Festival or whatever they will be calling it later. Maybe I am in a k-drama slump now as the only currently airing ones I'm following are Crime Squad and Gisaeng.

I'm not currently watching ANY kdrama. I need a wkend off to marathon my 14 eps left of President, that's all I can manage.

Of the May dreamy bunch, I have time to follow one and only one. and my heart purrrsssss when I say Manny out loud, just the ring of that drama title is curling my toes. It's spring and hormones, I swear, and nth my brain can do anything about it.

But I'll have a lot of fun lurking and reading all the colorful discussions here in a free for all for sure! Can't wait! I'm more excited for the discussions than the dramas already!!
