Please let this drama rumor be true!

I am sure some kdrama junkies on my flist remember how a few years ago, Four Seasons was bandied about as a possibly upcoming drama. To say that Dangerousie was an excited little mousie would be a vast understatement. It was supposed to be written by Lee Kyung Hee (Sang-Do, A Love to Kill, Thank You etc), a.k.a. one of my favorite drama-writers and be the drama comeback of both Rain and Jeon Ji Hyun as a mercenary and a journalist respectively. For whatever reason, the project fell through, LKH went on to write the wonderful Will It Snow On Christmas and Rain went on to star, much less wonderfully, in the trainwreck that was Fugitive. And I wrote off this drama for good.

BUT.

BUT.

Apparently, just like Daemul, Four Seasons may just be the zombie that refuses to die, because apparently this is one of the dramas Jo In Sung is considering as his drama come-back once he's out of the army.

Let's pause.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!

It's exciting enough that this project may yet happen with anyone, because LKH is one of two of my favorite kdrama screenwriters (NYK being the other), but Jo In Sung? Jo In Sung. He hasn't done a drama since 2005 and he is, IMO, one of the best k-ent actors working out there today (have you seen Dirty Carnival? I had shivers for hours, afterwards). He blew everyone else out of the water and MADE the drama for me in Something Happened in Bali, so the thought of him back doing a drama, and a LKH drama (he is so good at angst/nuance/melodrama combo she excels at) - OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. Please please, drama gods, make this happen!

JIS was the first actor to steal my heart by being totally awesome in WHIB. He did it subtly, quietly, but I have to say resolutely. Others like FSF, Go Soo, Ming Dao with facial hair?, and who knows who else may turn me into a fangirl, but JIS will always be special to me.

i still haven't gotten around to bali. WHY have i not gotten around to bali?! i'm guessing jeon ji hyun probably won't still be attached to it either. ugh, i wish she would do a drama. yno what my ultimate kdrama pairing would be? jeon ji hyun and wonbin. i have legitimate palpitations at the very thought!! jfc, the hot levels would be off the charts. sorry, this is not the point of this post. :)
