Has anyone seen this? I am dying to watch this (I love big cdrama epic series) but there are no subs and I don't think anyone has picked it up for subbing (which makes sense - it's a monster drama. I am still (very gratefully) shocked that e.g. Jiang Hu is subbing 95-ep Three Kingdoms). Maybe the DVDs will have subs? I am seriously dying for this.

I am currently in episode 12. I was able to find some episodes in 720p by searching through the hotfilesearch. I am getting hooked on 720p but they do take up lots of space.

hahaha. Du-Chun playing the biggest flirt Xi-menching. That's hilarious, and I just see a huge divide of character. I don't like how they made this drama to look. It feels like a Tang-ren production in the sense that it's got that light, idol-aura, not the heavier, historical treatment the subject material should deserve.

If you want a classic version of this, the 1998 version is much better IMO.

Jiang Hu Fansubs had considered it, but since it's 80 episodes long (I know, you're thinking, you're subbing a 95-ep monster, what's 80 to you?) and will require similar levels of research as TK, the group isn't that keen on jumping in at this moment. Maybe we'll feel differently when TK is done...

That's what I guessed. Especially since I saw that not only are you doing TK, you have Journey to the West listed as a future project. I think to add WM to that would certainly be going way way way above and beyond anything, sleep included :)

When is JttW coming out now? I thought it was later in 2011.

It was supposed to come out in April of 2011, but then it got delayed, so we don't know when now :-/

We did a vote for new series and Journey to the West and Strange Hero Yi Zhi Mei (with Wallace Huo and Liu Shishi! ;-)) won, but with JttW delayed, I guess we're looking at other stuff. Too bad Water Margin is too long/difficult to do with RotK.

I liked this. It's more bromance galore of VERY HOT MEN than monster drama. There's a hotter bro5, NieYuan (whom I think it's the hottest devil in Cdramaland) and many many many many many more C hotties.

Is Nie Yuan really in this drama? I can't find him at all when searching through Chinese lists of WM 2011 actors. I only found some articles about how he was switched out before they started filming.
