As close to my ideal cast as it gets

Sweet Scandal, the drama that seemingly replaced Poseidon on SBS schedule, has as its rumored cast Lee Seo Jin, Park Shi Hoo and Yoon Eun Hye.

Permit me a brief moment to hyperventilate.

I have adored YEH since Goong, which was one of my earliest dramas, her warm vibe, sheer likeability and impeccable comic timing makes even a badly-made drama like My Fair Lady much more bearable than it otherwise would have been and when she has worthwhile material - oh boy!

Park Shi Hoo is notorious for stealing the show from underneath the leading men (when he's playing second lead) and his reputation is well-deserved but if there is a leading man who can hold his own against someone as magnetic as PSH, it is Lee Seo Jin who, in addition to being one of the most effortlessly masculine kdrama guys out there, is IMO one of the best kdrama actors - fierce and magnetic. I've loved him in every single thing I've seen him in, period or contemporary. Plus, he always has wicked chemistry with his leading ladies.

The writer is giving me a bit of a pause - he or she wrote the atrocious Heading to the Ground. But I am going to hold out hope he/she has improved since then or HTTG was a fluke.

Even with a flawed writer, this is still miles more interesting to me than Poseidon which deals with a topic that bores me to death (coast guard - blah) and has a cast which leaves me cold (KKW holds no interest for me. Eric had one great performance in QSS but a series of mediocre performances otherwise, and anything that keeps Yunho and his attempts at "acting" off my screen is a good thing).

So hooray!

Now, give me What's Up!

Oh my god!

I love LEE Seo jin - I forgot that dramas name where he plays the gangster and falls in love with a pastic surgeon.

AND.. I AM GOING TO BE SUPER PISSED, if PSH steals the thunder this time.
IN the rest of his (psh) dramas, i really didnt really care of the male leads, so it was ok with him stealing the show....

BUT........ NO WAY, in hell is he going to steal the thunder from my fav dimpled man!!!!

DID you see the k drama Freeze!! ITs only 4 epi long, but its awesome.

It's Lovers and I adore it to bits. So shippy and perfect.

I love PSH but have no fear he'll steal the screen from LSJ. That's basically impossible.

Oh, I like Yoon Eun-hye a lot, too! And it's Park Shi-hoo. I haven't seen him in anything, but I do agree that he's very charismatic and I can totally see why he makes a formidable (even second) lead. I'm liking this.

Now, give me What's Up! I totally agree.

P.S. Is Yun-ho that bad?

They did give up WU timeslot (the 9pm one). Poseidon and now SS were going to be aired in the usual 10pm slot.

PARK SHI HOO AND YOON EUN HYE??? ARE THEY THE OTP?? If they are all my drama dreams (at least 98% of them) will have come true at once and Christmas will have come early. OMGO HYPERVENTILATES.

dear God please grant that the HTTG writer was on meth while writing it and is now clean. On the bright side, it couldn't possibly be worse than My Fair Lady, right?...right?

this is so exciting. I've been meh about Kdramas for quite some time now except for Dream High, it's about time one came along that I really liked.

I would think it would LSJ who would be OTP with her - he's the bigger star. But who knows.

I don't believe LSJ has ever done a romcom but he's excellent in intense roles.

I like YEH, Goong is still one of my fave kdramas. The music,sets and everything was perfect. And of course Joo Ji Hoon, I really hope he can make a comeback after the military.
But I just read that Park Shi Hoo is going to be in Maids with Sung Yuri.
But the writer.......heading to the ground was horrid as was Yunho's acting.
