But, thanks to hollyxu, I have just found out that Eight and Qing Chuan, currently passing in the modern world as actors Feng Shao Feng and Yang Mi, have another drama together coming out later in the year! It is called Legend of the Tiger Amulet and, to my uncontained joy:

a. They play the angsty OTP! She lurves him but becomes someone else's concubine!
b. It's set in the Warring States era, so no Qing hairstyles. Instead, lovely hairstyles I like!

As per my cdrama guru hollyxu, the story involves an amulet which gives its user same authority as an Emperor would have. Yang Mi steals it from her husband and gives it to her lover to help his kingdom fight off Qin. That is going to end so well.

Nothing can dethrone Hu Ge's Shangri La off first place on my "most anticipated dramas" list, but this comes close. Anyway, I hope there are subs. Because I am NOT embarking on another raw cdrama watching experience. Maybe if I repeat that enough, I will actually carry through.

Seriously, words alone can't describe how much I want to watch this!!! This has jumped to my most anticipated drama this year, and I recently found out about it too!!! If there are no English subs, I'll watch it raw and probably will understand like 2% of what they're saying but I swear I wouldn't care b/c of the awesome chemistry between FSF and Yang Mi.

The only reason this is not on n1 is because I've been excited over Shangri-La for months, plus it is made my people who made my favorite drama of all time and I have an unhealthy obsession with Hu Ge.

This said, I am so excited for this, based on synopsis, cast and a few stills, it's a little insane. I hope there'll be subs (maybe someone kind on viki will do it - JPLH was very popular, after all) but if not, I'll join you in watching it raw. We could have a watchalong.

Now I madly crave a trailer.

Isn't it funny how hairstyles can make or break a character sometimes? I've definitely experienced that, shallow as it sounds. I'm not a huge fan of the queue, but at least it eliminates my biggest pet peave with most of the Warring States wigs, which is the exaggerated widow's peak :)

I don't mind the widow's peak but the Qing hairstyles give me nightmares (I am shocked how well both FSF and Kevin Cheng in the upcoming BBJX carry it off, but that's a rare exception.)

FengMi - which means Honey. Cute, isn't it. Really, his word Feng (same sound as Bee) to her Mi (same sound as Honey) and put together is the Chinese word for Bee's Honey.

Oh man, I never watch anything that doesn't have a happy ending, and this being a Chinese historical with that kind of plot, it has 99.9% percent chance of ending badly, but MORE FENGMI! They have insane chemistry! I want.

Yes, I am pretty sure they'll both be gruesomely dead at the end but I don't care. Like you, I am pretty into their pairing - so much chemistry. Don't remember last time I've seen the like. Been a while.

OMG! This is awesome! I cannot wait! FengMi (jumping on the bandwagon already!) made JPLH such fun to watch! very few on screen couples have that sort of chemistry!!! hmm, wait..is our beloved FOUR gonna be in it too??? hahahaha

I think the warring states has to be one of my favourite historical periods! Do you know when the drama's gonna come out?

I've more or less given up on Jdramas for now....until the next Kimura drama I expect...hahaha....so yes, I have an equal replacement!

This is supposed to come out at the end of this year. These people are utter workaholics - FSF has another drama with Ady coming out too, and then he and Yang Mi are also doing JPLH sequel. When do they sleep?
