I was clicking around my Terracotta Warrior eps to see they dled correctly, and guess what I found in ep 11.

If you guessed "Mousie's new fictional boyfriend", then you guessed correctly. Any gentleman who rescues the heroine from death twice within ten minutes of running time, fighting garroters, facing down evil eunuchs and stopping public executions, is definitely to Mousie's taste. The armor, cape, and hairstyle are pleasing additions.

Mind you, I have no clue of the context because not only do I not speak Mandarin, this is ep 11 and I've only watched first ep. But whatever. I ca deduce she is a court lady and her fellow court lady has gone missing and while looking for her she is attacked and General rescues her. I didn't capture the cool fight because they move too fast. Why couldn't they move in slow motion? :P

Safe! Only one problem. On coming back to the palace, she's accused of the murder of that woman. It's clear that Qin Emperor isn't around at the moment and she really pissed off Zhao Gao somehow. Ergo. Nothing good. She gets dragged off to jail.

And is about to be beheaded, of which fact one of his underlings informs our hero.

Meanwhile she's being dragged to a public execution, with Zhao Gao gloating.

And he rides through a crowd and...

Yesssssssssss. His sword stops the ax.

And he wrenches the ax away...

And faces down the Chief Eunuch.

Yes. He puts a sword to the man's neck. YESSS.

Honestly, Qin Emperor, I know it sucks that your mystic crush object and your chief
Have another MV. This one centers on the 1930s portion of the story. It looks just as angsty as the ancient part :)
LOL
