It doesn't look like this will be subbed unless Tai Seng takes pity on us and releases subbed DVDs. Also, unlike with Terracotta Warrior, this is not easy to follow raw.

BUT I DON'T CARE. Because it's gorgeous and fluid and intense like a movie and is about a tormented rebel and Wallace Huo can act AND is major UNF and just - ILY, makers. Even if I did get a little sniffly in the first 15 minutes (with the flashback to wife part).

I am watching this raw and loving it. But I still wish I took Mandarin instead of Welsh in college.

It's not that dialogue heavy, with all the action, but it's sharp, spiffy lines. I'll try to write up sth of ep1. I only have LQ dl'd so tolerate my sucky caps.

Nope. Period cdramas are the readheaded stepchild of english-subbing world. My only hope is dvds. It's sort of a lottery as to whether there will be subs on those.

I watched terra cota drama and like you I like the lead male actor. I think he acts good as the qin dynasty general. This is the first time I see him and he is really charming.Concerning Ady, who looks really cute here with her pretty eyes, in my view (and I notice that mostly with taiwanese actresses) overractes a bit the cute acting (I think I like Gong Li performance better). But I am getting used to her and she has chemistry with both actors (the king with his pretty eyes and the general).

About C iljimae my fav here are not liu shi shi (sorry but dead eyes) and wallace huo (sorry but this actor still has to wow me because he has this boring vibe about him I can't explain)
but the feminine guy and the baddie.
