So. First ep.

If you are looking for meaningful, tense, serious drama, stay away. MP is, unabashedly and deliciously, fluff. But it's fast-paced, funny, adorable, pitch-perfect one. I love both Song Seung Heon and Kim Tae Hee's characters already - the smart diplomat both amused and boggled by the spunky, chattering, penny-pinching college student who is utterly unimpressed by his looks or status. They have a fun warm vibe and excellent chemistry. Their interactions make me grin. I especially adore Tae Hee's character - I'd love to hang around with her. Ryu Si Young is looking sexaaaaaaay as the young professor crush of Tae Hee and secondary girl looks and acts appropriately bitchy and not in a "secretly wounded and awesome" Seul from Secret Garden way.

Can't wait for more shippy interactions. Bring it on!

Now, if this remains pure fluff throughout, I might become bored and drop it - I don't deal well with fluff-only dramas. But seeing that this lady co-penned Lovers (which I adore and which had plenty of delicious angst), I hope it won't stay an angstless drama forever. I mean, SSH looks so good angsty and bruised, it would be a pity to waste it.

So far - a definite yay from me!

I'm becoming more and more curious about this. The premise reminds me in a good way of the Taiwanese My Romantic Princess, which had a couple of good things going for it which I hope My Princess will share (I loved that the main character was bright and capable and wound up running her grandfather's whole company in the end), but it was so over-the-top cheesey that you started feeling like you were losing braincells the more you watched. I'm hoping My Princess can take a similar premise and turn out something great.

Agreed. RP was so cute but I had to turn it off because it was rotting my brain. Hope this one is smarter - shouldn't be hard.

I liked the first ep and mostly for the same reasons. I'm also it's not going to be total fluff. I had planned on watching this yesterday but ended up pickig Sign instead. So totally predictable of me. I mean, fluff vs crime... yeah, not hard to guess which one will win. :)

Signs isn't really my thing (plus don't care for PSY) but let me know if it's any good :)

I just finished the first 2 episodes and I love it! I didn't think SSH would ever do a rom-com, but he did! I was all expecting something bad to happen to him within the first half hour! hahaha

I hope the show continues to have amazing scenes between the leads, I think they really light up the screen, and do they not look just perfect together???

While I do love an angsty SSH, can he get the girl, not die and have a happily ever after this time? They can torture him as much as they want... preferably shirtless and wet.... LOL but let the show end well! It's January, I don't think I can take something too tragic this early into the new year.

Romantic Princess was sooo......forgettable....NOT EVEN the gorgeousness that is Wu Zun could save it. It got so lame especially towards the end. Sigh, that's the problem with TW dramas, they give you plenty of fan service and some of them are such gems and I totally love watching them, but sometimes, they just don't put in enough effort in the script...(and the acting, and the standard of production)

Yes, he angsted enough in EoE to last forever. I want some chirpiness here (with a bit of angst thrown in, of course).

RP was such a waste of time.

My Princess is a keeper I love dramas that are warm fuzzy fluff.
And the first 2 episodes have that Goong vibes that I adore.
I swear all my favorite people are in it.
Love Kim Tae Hee & Song Seung Hoon's chemistry.
Finally a drama where SSH doesn't cry or
wallow in angst!Rom com suits him and KTH can finally act!
I am really excited about the return of Ryu Su Yeong,
omg he's even sexier now than when he left for mandatory
military service. and I can't get enough of Park Ye Jin (another favorite)
as museum curator.
