A quick Secret Garden thought

Watching eps 13 and 14 with subs firmly cemented two incompatible things in my mind:



1. Joo Won and Ra Im really do love each other and would be miserable without each other at this moment (especially Joo Won - if he lost her, he couldn't function - notice that he even gives up his meds when things are going well with her but when everything goes to hell in ep 13 he starts taking them again). They are crazy, passionately obsessed with each other.

and

2. I can't see a long-term way for them to be together at all. If she entered his world, she'd be miserable, withdraw, lash out, and then leave him (even if somehow his Mom magically became OK with her). If he gave up his world for her, he'd be happy in short term but in long term start resenting her and leave her eventually.



So yes, if they gave each other up now, they'd be more miserable than if they stuck together despite the differences and the difficulties and insanity. But in long term, they'd be miserable if they stuck together, too, unless there is a way out of either being with his family or giving up his world and entering his. It really is a Little Mermaid situation - the Prince can't live in the water, obviously, but the Mermaid can't be on land without being in horrific pain and losing what makes her herself.



Writer, find some way out, pls.

I'm only on episode 9 and I can totally see this happening too. I really love them together so I really do hope that the writer will find some way to get them together that makes sense.

God their chemistry is insane even when it's just caps.

They have always sizzled with anyone I've ever seen them in so it makes sense they'd sizzle together.

Solution C - the Secret Garden solution - both leave the garden for the real world - so he can do his own business or something and she would be with him in it - say producing films. Or some such. Or him writing and her acting. Or some such.

If we're picking stories to be from Little Mermaid - incompatible worlds; Alice - girl falls into other world and finds it incomprensible; Secret Garden - lonely sickly boy prone to tantrums, feisty orphaned but hurt girl, meet at the fantastic estate - healing powers of garden transforms them both.

Actually, the one thing that is really irritating me about both male leads is them wanting her to stop being a stuntwoman. For pete's sake - it's not like she's a stripper. She's got a legitimate talent, and she's using it - get a grip boys. Another reason to adore Oska - he actually respects her and what she does. And it's not the most dangerous job around, either. The whole point of the specialty is to make what could be dangerous to an untrained person safe.

Tbh, if someone I loved was a stuntperson, I'd be unhappy about their choice of profession - it's dangerous. I wouldn't want them to be a miner or a cop either. I am sort of a wuss :)

although i totally see your point about their long term relationship but I just don't want to see this drama ends and them are not together. so yea, dear writer find some way out please.
some how i can see RI fits into JW's world if she still continues with her stunt work and over come that nasty mother in law. JW can never live in RI world though.
