Was an idiot and ended up rewatching "I Will Remember You" ep of Angel. Fuck. Fuckedy fuck fuck fuck. Now I am crying and want to burrow under a blanket. Fuck.

Right in time for Veronica Mars too, and all I can think of is the supreme angst that is the Buffy and Angel Theater of Pain. Well, at least I can take comfort in the fact that no matter how south Veronica/Logan ship could ever go, he won't get everything he ever wanted in one perfect day and then have to give it all up to save his One True Love, and the time will be turned back so she won't even remember it, and no one will, except for him.

Fuuuuuck.

*hugs* dear. That ep made me cry, too. But I love it when that happens, because I love the power of fiction to make me feel that strongly.

Angel writers clearly hung out with Joss Whedon for too long. The whole bit at the end, where she is saying she'll never forget and then...baaaaaam...just evil. Evil, evil, evil.

I think what made me sob so hard is that Buffy never remembers. She always wanted to have "normal" with Angel, but all the memory she has is of her waking up alone and him turning evil, not of their lovely day where hey, he stuck around afterwards and told her he loved her...

And Angel? Hey, he's got ton more angst around to carry that he can't share with anyone. It's like giving a straving guy some food and then snatching it away. Grrrrrrrrrr....

Oh that episode... *sighs* I love angsty episodes too. "The Prom" and "Becoming" make me bawl too. In fact it was even more irritating with "I'll remember you" because Angel never got around to tell her. I remember the episode with Faith in Angel when it was clear he was on the verge of telling her but couldn't and argh. Totally frustrating.
