Yup, this drama IS going to be the death of me. My heart is already in shreads after today's epi and now it looks like the next one is going to stomp on it too. Write a nice eulogy for me will ya.

Sun Joon is all kinds of wonderful but so are the others. They just keep on being there for one another. All for one and one for all. How did the musketeers end up in Joseon?

I know! I literally had a nightmare about this when I went to nap. I don't want anything bad to happen to him!

(But I am so glad his father was not behind the murders. Cover up is a lot less to get over than 'your dad killed mine').

I love kdrama but they always stick to the same formula for the OTP, the OTP tastes the sweetest bit of heaven (episode 17) and no sooner than they have become the happiest ever, they are pushed into the deep dark depths of hell (episode 18 and 19)

Seriously SJ is the most amazing hero ever, when he saw she was not wearing the ring, I could just feel his heartbreak... no hero could compare to him, he would gladly give his life for YH- why must Kdrama keep increasing my ideals on the perfect man?

SJ is so wonderful, indeed.

And the preview indicates my love for him will go even more in the stratosphere - because this is so huge and he is doing it in part because JS is his friend but in part because he believes he owes JS a debt as it was his own father's machinations that led to death of JS' brother and JS becoming the Messenger.

Though if anyone used any brain they'd realize law-abiding SJ is about the last person to run around shooting arrows at guards at night.

(Also, maybe I am mistaken, but isn't the King an absolute ruler - why doesn't he pardon him whether because he doesn't believe SJ is the Messenger or because he likes the Messenger or for whatever reason. I can't see how Noron, Soron, or any other Moron could object the will of their sovereign - especially since I doubt Left Sate Minister will be against anything that saves his son, whom he clearly loves despite everything else).

I've become a spoilerwhore, I havent seen 17, 18 yet.

If the spoiler is true and SJ got framed as HBS, JeJeong may have his hands tied. HBS has blood on hands committed by Chosun, if he easily pardons SJ, he'll have to air what he's secretly 'conspiring' behind the Norons. Strictly fr SKKS, Norons are so powerful they can do to the King what they did to King's dad(off!). Without proof fr GDJS, Noron (or Soron as well, idk) r revered loyal protector of sovereign no one dares to argue. JeJeong is trying to reform but he's a shaky foundation in his court, he only has a handful of loyal peeps, everybody else is Noron biased. Politically it would make sense to 'dethrone' the Noron's heir apparent SJ. The Norons, namely War Minister is holding the real power in military, only he is a newly disgruntled underling of Left Minister/ SJ's dad. I bet he cant wait tohit left Minister where it hurts MOST. It'll be politics vs kin for Left Minister whether to align absolutely w/ party or save son. I wanna know!

Just wanted to add that I've been obsessed with dramas before but I have never had so many dreams about a drama as much as I have with SKKS, its really got into my system and emotions like no other drama has, there is just something about it...I don't want it to be over!

OT - but you gotta watch ep 47-48 for your MW-MJ fix, god he loves her so much, and next week, he's gonna think MJ is schtupping Gang Mo!!! He sees a picture of them hugging and he's eyes literally about pop out of its socket. Wahahahaha, this is not going to be pretty.

OMG but he might almost be better off is she was GM's lover. You can break it off with a lover but not with a brother and he is going to have to deal with the fact that he almost killed his otp's brother and is his bitter enemy.
