Just finished ep 2 of Daemul with subs

So insanely good. It just flows. And HyeRim and DoYa are both such grown-up, complicated, smart, tough characters who also do have vulnerabilities and quirks. Just - LOVE.

You make Daemul sound really good! Though I'm holding off on watching it because all the weirdness going on with the writer and PD makes me worry there'll be sudden drop in quality (much like Cinderella's Sister after the first four episodes).

Also, would you mind if I friend you? No need to do so in return, I've just been enjoying your kdrama posts and I'd like to be able to easily keep up. =)

Wasn't that scene just AMAZING. Just so symbolic of who they are, what she stands for, what she means for him...

At the end of the scene, as they panned away and showed the emblem 'Prosecutor's Office' on his umbrella (talk about symbolism-- you just know he's going to be her first and foremost ally and cheerleader in her fights against injustice), I remember thinking, dear god, I don't care if this is their only scene in this ep., I can die happy now. But no, no, no, no, that was just the beginning.


HyeRim and DoYa are both such grown-up, complicated, smart, tough characters who also do have vulnerabilities and quirks.

Yup, yup, yup, and I get SUCH thrill out of rooting for them, as characters, as OTP. I feel like I hit the jackpot falling in love with such awesome characters portrayed by two awesome actors in their prime and amazing chemistry with each other.

I can't gush enough about them. And so far, 5 eps. in, I have not been disappointed with what they gave us.

I just love watching them bounce off each other - and with every ep, I just fall more and more in love with them. I don't even care if this drama has a plot or not (though it does) - I could watch the two of them forever.

And oh, it's been soooooo long since I've seen a drama where both protagonists were indubitably adults - not young ones growing to their potential or immature people needing to mature. No, just to very mature, competent (but quirky) adults. LOVE.

I agree! that was totally an awesome scene. Go Hyun Jung is an awesome actress. I first stumbled on her existence, whilst trying to find a good martial arts movie to watch on Hulu. I couldn't find one and decided to (what I thought would be settling at the time) check out Queen Seondeok. I now find myself obsessed with her acting. Watched everything available on Dramafever...then proceeded to stalk the net for Dae-mul. It is nice to be able to cheer for her character without guilt lol. I can't even wait for subs. I watch them raw and then re-watch them when the subs
come out.

Yes, she is so very wonderful
