1. Heroine is good-natured and sunny. She is also a Bloody Avenger of Wrongs! And if you get in her way, she will end you. Basically, she is Joo Ji Hoon's character from Mawang, if Ji Hoon was a tiny smiley female who loved dogs.

2. How is it possible for Tamaki Hiroshi be so utterly gorgeous? Especially since it looks like he finally ate a sandwich. I sat through the interminably dull Nodame Cantabile for his gorgeous self, and I loved Love Shuffle but he was intervention-level emaciated in that (I was worried his cheek bones would punch through the skin), so imagine my glee that (a) his being in a good drama and (b) looking healthy and good finally coincided.

Anyway, she is an avenging angel, he is a broken detective, angsty loving shall hopefully ensue.

ETA: I pretty much hate the heroine and think she is totally evil and should go to jail forever. Maybe later I will get to the point I got with JJH in Mawang (I both hated him and pitied him and loved him) but for now, just hate. Maybe because in Mawang, JJH always gave people an out - it's their continuing sins that got them - if they chose to do the right thing, they'd live. But Kanno Miho's character is not like that. "Kill yourself while I watch or I kill your loved one right now" is not anything but truly despicable.

Awesome drama though.

Kanno Miho is a woman wrongfully imprisoned who gets out and starts a killing spree of vengeance. Tamaki is a detective who is investigating.

CLEARLY I've been out of Jdoramas for far too long.
SHUN, MAO AND HIROKI? OMG this is the best thing I've heard today. What is it called?! =)

Ah, you are all wonderful crack dealers. I am indebted!

GAWD I freakin love Shun and Hiroki. DAMN. Hiroki, long time since I've thought of him!

shun/mao/hiroki drama is called juui dolittle.
i'm not gonna lie: the general premise of the drama sparks no interest in me. animals as a main part of any main plot turns me off from it right a way. but, i am simply watching these to see the development of this love triangle. i'm curious as to who she ends up with as i myself have yet to pick which side i'm on. i love both guys. well, hiroki a little more because he gets my hormones going =P

He is looking SO much better. Good to have meatier Tamaki back (though he's still pretty skinny lol).

I also loved the first episode of Nagareboshi. A whole lot of pretty for one show!

I only had a low quality version of it so I'll definitely be rewatching it when a better version comes out. I know there's a super high quality one up on d-addicts already but I doubt my poor lappy could handle it. XD

spoiler-ish

I watched the first twenty minutes or so, and it seems Heroine is going after the people who wrongfully put her in prison (when she was 19) and let the actual murder get away. So, I can't totally hate her - she's clearly gone a bit crazy. What's interesting to me is that she may threaten to hurt the innocent, but she never actually does; at no point are they actually in harm's way. I'm not sure if I like her, but the sociology/psychology major in me finds her fascinating.

I find her fascinating too but repellent at the same time - because I don't know how these guys were related to the double homicide she was put in jail for, but unless they did the actual murder, death seems too much of a punishment. (Granted, not every target was a murderer in Mawang either, but he did give them more of a choice/let them be punished as consequence of current sins) then what she does here.

I finished the first episode, and I'm not sure what to think about the character. She's going after the cops that apparently framed her to get ahead and let the real (unknown?) murder get away. I could maybe go with that, but her. . .see, I'm not unsure she's not totally crazy. Because, she's sweetness and smiles alone or with other people and all evil with her victims. I did think their convo about Leon was very telling about Miho's character feelings about herself. I'm going to keep watching, as I love the cast and this really reminds me of Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi in a lot of ways.

The thing that makes me dislike her is there are no outs in her plan. Unlike in Mawang or Resurrection where the avenger uses the worst qualities about his targets and doesn't get his own hands dirty (e.g. remember the loan shark who got killed in Mawang - JJH exploited his worst qualities - evil threatening loansharking methods and there was always an out - if he was nice to the mother or apologized or explained, she wouldn't have sprayed the allergen - not to mention that ultimately the choice was the woman's - etc etc etc - we even saw one of the targets, the adulterer, 'pass' the test and walk away). But here, Kanna Miho uses the victims' best qualities against them - she is punishing them for having loving feelings and their death doesn't arise out of something they are engaged now. It's nasty murder pure and simple, and a flawed plan at that. If one of these guys is a true sociopath who doesn't care about his family enough to die and is willing to gamble, where would she be?

Also, I fail to see how framing for murder (or just sloppy investigation) is a death-worthy crime. You are right, I see shades of Sorakara even more than Mawang here, because if one could get JJH to forsake his revenge, he could live a useful life (and no court could convict him for murder based on his actions - he is smart). OTOH, Kanna Miho is just too broken and her actions would certainly be enough to convict her of murder.

She was clearly framed for murder, but I have to wonder why. Who would want to frame a 19 year old girl, and why did no one (cops, lawyers. her own mother) believe her when she claimed her innocence. I'm certainly looking forward to watching this series - I think there is much more to this mystery than meets the eye.

Well, there is an indication she was jealous of her sister. Still, hmmmmm.

I like a drama that makes me guess.

"I sat through the interminably dull Nodame Cantabile for his gorgeous self"

I second each word in the above sentence.

Very interested in this since I love revenge stories (because I'm the last person to take revenge for anything in real life) and he looks really good despite the hair.
