The logical assumption is that this is after Sun Joon finds out she is a girl so he is changing their sleeping arrangements by 'dividing' their area and putting the bolster betwen them (a variation on a medieval European thing with a sword?).

OK, I am all about how adorable it is that Sun Joon is trying to protect Yoon Hee's honor EXCEPT THEY SHOULD BE FUCKING EACH OTHER'S BRAINS RIGHT ABOUT NOW ARGHARGHARGH.

I was not expecting for SJ and YH to go all x-rated as soon as her gender got disclosed as they did in the book (any kind of sex is NOT happening on Korean TV unless apocalypse is coming) but hello, you could just pan the camera away or close the door on them being horizontal or whatever. THIS IS EVIL EVIL EVIL AND DEPRIVING ME.

Unresolved sexual tension is TERRIBLE, even if it's someone else's. Maybe even more so because you can't do anything about it lol. OMGGG can we have something like the pillow is there but Yoonhee rolls right over it anyone and Sunjoon can't help himself and things happen???? Prs???

This is something that the character of SJ would definitely do...when he discovers she is a girl, I can't believe in the book they actually get intimate with each other, does SJ start it because I could just not picture this! He is the type who would wait for marriage. I couldn't even see how he could touch her after knowing she is a girl, I would think he would be all trembling and nervous, like when she dressed like a girl. I guess I could see him having all this passion and wanting to unleash it, but I can't believe they were together in the book, with his morals and iron clad willpower I just could not see this happening....can't wait for ep 15

Oh, I agree, it's very in character for SJ - I don't have a problem with the writing for the drama. It's just I, as a viewer, am so frustrated for a shallow reason of wanting to see smoochies and skinship.

In the book, they ended up making love because YH was the one initiating, but I can't really see drama YH doing this, and as both SJ and YH are somewhat different in the drama, I agree, sexing in the waterfall unless it really was madness of the moment overtaking them, seems unlikely. But I want to see them make out! Please, drama, before I expire :)
