He looks more like a woman than I do (and trust me, I am pretty girly and even if I crossdressed would never pass as a man). From the hair to the style to the clothes to the face. Ugh. I am not being snarky when I am saying that if I did not know who he was and if this photo didn't come with a caption, I would have genuinely believed this was a pretty young woman.
Seriously. I DO NOT GET IT. I prefer masculine men, but there are plenty of men who look pretty enough to be a girl that I do like (Lee Junki, Jung Il Woo) but they all come across as masculine on-screen and never dress indistinguishable from a woman (unless they are playing a crossdressing role). JGS seems to love to be as feminine as possible both on and off-screen. His right, but I do not get the sex appeal whatsoever.
Ugh. Though, seeing that he gets more and more feminine with each role and with each passing month in RL, I am almost morbidly curious to see what he will do next.
So not watching MSOAN - the thought of watching that for 16 hours? Yikes. Especially since I don't like the leading lady either.

Meanwhile, I'm actually going to try MSOAN to see where it goes. I like the cast and the synopsis we got so far. Might be a disaster but maybe not. I think JGS has always made pretty good choices when it came to choosing his dramas. They were all interesting in one way or the other for me. For him to take on another musician role so soon after YAB must mean he saw something worthwhile in the script since he's mentioned post YAB that he wanted to try something completely different now.

I have to agree on his voice, it's really dark and masculine.
He definetely is a good actor but I wish he would choose projects where he isn't suppose to look effeminate, I haven't seen the case of Itaewon homocide (well there he played a killer) but he can act.
In Japan there is a whole trend of this, look at the majority of JE boys but even historically you had kabuki onnagatan causing crase umongst women and even men. This still happens with modern day kabuki stars.
But I think at the moment at least it's in fashion to have there pretty flower boys like Lee Jun-ki, Jung il woo, Miura haruma and others.

And I agree, Jung Il Woo does pass as a pretty girl, when cross-dressing. But he's quite masculine as well. And I totally love how they made his pretty face a running gag in Return of Iljimae :D
