This year has been lovely year for airing dramas, OTP-wise. Most of these worked out and all had me rabid about them. Cookie points to anyone who guesses all/any of them.

I think out of the OTPs that I have watch so far about three got happy endings and the rest broke my heart! But Bad Guy, I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THEM! They broke my heart the most!

1. Min-woo and Miju from Giant, they are also my OTP of that show.

2.Do Ya and Hye Rim from Dae Mul, I'm loving them already.

3. Rensuke and Xiu Mei from Moon Lovers, I just watched their scenes and didn't bother watching after they "broke up" and he suddenly went to his friend.

4. Xiao Chuan and Yu Shu from The Myth, which I still need to watch. If only there were subs I could d/l. Viikki is being weird lately.

5. Kang Jin and Ji Wan from Will It Snow At Christmas?, a good OTP, but a show that lost its way at times. (All those time jumps!)

6./17. Tae Ha/Un Nyun and Dae Gil/Un Nyun from Chuno - lucky girl. Though, I still feel terrible for Dae Gil.

7. Sun Joon and Yoon Hee from Sungkyunkwan Scandal

8. Dong Ah and Yoon Seo from Gloria, I love them. Did you watch Saturday's episode?

10. Seung Jo and Ha Ni from Playful Kiss, they are adorable.

11. Jin Ho and Kae In from Personal Preference, they were also adorable.

12.In Woo and Hye Ri from Prosecutor Princess, I loved that show.

14. Feng Yi and ? Infernal Lover, I need to watch this. But, I hate streaming. I was hoping someone would sub. I'll have to watch this and The Myth over winter break.

15. Kang Ha and Pal Kang from Stars Falling From the Sky, which had an awesome ending for them.

16. Is that Tae Sung and Jae In from Bad Guy, which I never warmed up to because of Gun Wook. They wanted me to feel sorry for that character, and I never could.

19. Is that Xia Mo and Luo Xi from Summer's Desire? I never watched it because I heard she gets with Peter Ho's character and I didn't care for that.

20. Kyohei and Sunako from Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, they were awesome.

As for DoYa and HyeRim... I alternate between 'just relax and watch' and 'there'll be blood if TPTB eff this up'. Only 2 eps, 22-24 more to go (some say it's 24 eps). Ack. Shipping them is going to kill me.

OMG, you are so good. 19 is actually Vanness Wu and Ady An from Next Stop Happiness - I did not like the canon OTP of Summer Desire at all but the alternaship lost me by the end too.

13 - yup, Xiong Yu and Xiao Yue.

The heroine's name in Infernal Lover is Hua Er. I want dl subs for this so badly.

Just to let you know, MW will meet little Woo Ju tomorrow's ep, and MJ will see him again as well. The reunion of your fave OTP is impending.

I know you don't ship them like I do, but GM-JY is almost back on, she gets kidnapped and my GM's bodyguard tendencies come out in full force. Tomorrow it looks like he finds her, and then has to battle an entire gang of thugs to save her, and gets beaten to a pulp. Omo, fighting GM is my fave GM in a suit isn't as droolworthy.

The next eps are the ones to really bring both sets of OTP back together, then they have to fight devil daddy.

Re: Daemul, I think Jang Tae San is kind of cute. I blame that mostly on my ahjusshi!crush on Cha In Pyo, but still. I'm glad they didn't make KSW a gigolo as they were going to previously, though, because I've always been ambivalent towards KSW and it would've been even harder to get behind him if he was.

Sun Joon/Yoon Hee and Dong Ah/Yoon Seo from Gloria = SO ADORBS. ♥ Those two are probably my favourites from this year, then probably the Coffee House couple next. I was surprised how much chemistry Park Shi Yeon and Kang Ji Hwan had, frankly. They were electrifying.

After watching episode 2 of Daemul, I'm having doubts that KSW and KHJ are the OTP. The bickering of Lee Soo Kyung and Kang Sang Woo is making me think otherwise.

According to the synopsis/drama bible, SeJin (LSK's character) does provide another connection btw DoYa and TaeSan (Cha InPyo's character)--HyeRim would be their first--and she does develop feelings for DoYa, but as far as he's concerned, it's all about HyeRim, from the moment he met her.

Granted, nothing's set in stone, and if the viewers react very favorably to DoYa and SeJin over the main OTP, who knows what may happen. But so far, everything's going in the OTP's favor. Even with TPTB, if you look at some of the changes they've made, like in the 2nd ep:

* Rain scene at the National Assembly? If the gossip I read is correct, originally, it was TaeSan who was supposed to hold the umbrella for HyeRim, but they changed it to DoYa. In the final version of the script (ie. the one on the official website), TaeSan's supposed to drive by in his car on his way to the Assembly and notice DoYa and HyeRim in the rain as they zoom away from the couple, but they eliminated that too in the broadcast ep. and what we saw was a purely DoYa and HyeRim scene from beginning to end.

* The script also shows that after the bickering at the coffee shop, SeJin has a scene at a rest stop (on her way back to Seoul) where she's thinking back to the kiss and realizing it wasn't unpleasant. I know it was filmed because there's a still with Lee SooKyung in the same red dress we saw her in the ep. but they edited that part out as well.

* Finally, back in Seoul, SeJin was supposed to have another scene, this time with TaeSan at the Heritage Club in which she apologizes for not acknowledging they had met before (on the plane) when her 'aunt' introduced them in ep. 1 (also tells him she's not really her aunt but a good friend of her mother). The scene was meant to end with TaeSan taking a call from DoYa's boss who informs him DoYa had only summoned the corrupt parliamentarian but not made an arrest (which DoYa does in the following scenes once he has the politician in custody) and muttering to himself 'does this mean I was wrong and you're no different from other prosecutors, Ha DoYa', and SeJin reacting stunned on hearing DoYa's name. I'm pretty sure this is the scene we see in the MV, in which Lee SooKyung in the red dress is hovering while TaeSan's reading a newspaper at the club, but in the broadcast ep.? Edited out.

What we had in the end was an ep. very focused on HyeRim and DoYa, at the expense of TaeSan and SeJin, you might say. And I'm not seeing much indication so far they're a very serious threat to the OTP.
