Still obsessed

In my glee over Ma Jun/Yu Kyung, I have been neglecting Ma Jun/Tak Gu. I almost never see slash but here, it's very hard to avoid. Seriously. All they need is naked showers :P (Side note - yes, yes, I realize it would be wrong as even though they are technically not siblings, and TG doesn't even know Ma Jun's identity, at least MJ currently believes they are half-siblings and blahblahblah they are straight, but indulge me with alternaverse here).

As if his unbrother/rival going temporarily blind is not enough to muddle Ma Jun, his 'courtship' (if you can call it that) of Yu Kyung does not continue much better. For one, Murder Mama is worried about a poor hussy taking advantage of her innocent sweet unworldly boy (ahahahahahahahahahaha) so she arranges to have Yu Kyung kicked out of her apartment. (If the heroine was played by Choi Ji Woo instead of Eugene, I bet she'd have been kicked out in the snow, so Eugene should enjoy the summer rain).



Ma Jun discovers same when his younger sister admits to him she gave YK's address to Murder Mama (I love how MJ is "OMG what have you done?" and sister is slowly beginning to get that yes, MJ actually does like YK. Heh). He runs to her place to find it empty, and goes to her school to discover she just dropped out due to all these problems. Hooray, Murder Mama, ruining a woman's life when said woman doesn't even want to date your baby. Ma Jun can do nothing at this point but to make a variety of attractive worried faces.









And then, mad as hell, he goes to have a talk with Murder Mama. What I like about Ma Jun is that he has no problem confronting her or admitting he likes YK to her. (He has less of a problem admitting this to anyone else than he does to YK actually). Murder Mama is all "see, I was right. You raised your voice to me because of her!" Keep it up, Murder Mama, and you will be left all alone. (Seriously though, how come evil drama parents never realize that the best bet for relationship to not go through is for them to leave it the heck alone. YK doesn't even see MJ in her future in any capacity - but Murder Mama is finally going to get her mad enough to date him just to spite her).

Have yet to watch Baker King but I have to say Tak-Gu (or Yoon Shi-Yoon, can't distinguish the two) stirs my maternal instincts. Whether he's smiling or crying or hurting blindfolded and bruised, I just wanna say awww or there, there.

Ah, Ma Jun/Tak Gu - my favourite pairing. XD They were doing so fine, finally and then Mureder Mama had to appear and ruin it again. The bitch! Her just desserts were so delightfully right.

Mmmmmmm..... young master Ma Jun has rather nice mouth. Yup, I do notice the essencials, don't I? *g*

it's very random that i stumbled upon your lj....
but omg, i had to say that the nickname "murder mama" made me laugh.
i found myself saying "what a b*tch" many of times to my laptop screen whenever she was on causing mayhem.
I myself followed this drama every week in clearly obsessed nature lol.

Strangely enough, I do not find her SO horrid, you know...well, she is an absolute freak with Yu Kyung, not always nice with her eldest daughter, putting so much pressure on Ma Jun, but apart from this all (and of course the fact that she wants to get rid of Tak Gu)...I think I can, in a way, understand her motives. She is neglected by her husband, and in the past she really was terrorized by this HORRIBLE mother-in-law...so no wonder she cheated on her husband (who cheated on her first)and became obsessed with making Ma Jun the heir, even if she is clearly, obviously, in the wrong. She disregards people ; she even disregards her beloved Ma Jun, in trying to force him to follow the path she chose for him.
I think the reason she is what she is now is because of her husband. He is my least favorite character in the show, I HATE him, he's an awful father and husband. Cold, indifferent, avoiding difficult family-related conversations, never talking with his wife/son/daughters, showing clear favoritism towards Tak Gu... To me, most of the evil which happen in the drama is because of his attitude towards his family. But in the drama, all the characters worship him, it's the only thing I can't stand in Baker King. Like he has done nothing wrong, god no, he's a saint.
Oops sorry for all my rants ...

Yes, they are. The mother as well, I certainly do not deny it. I can't count the number of times I wanted to scream at her. But from time to time, when I was watching the drama, I could feel both hate and pity for the mother. Only hate for the father ;)
