Miscellania of life...
Oct. 20th, 2005 10:52 pm"Dances with Wolves" is on TV right now. And who do I see canoodling with Kevin Costner? President Roslin, of course.
This little exchange ensues:
Me: Roslin!
Mr. Dangermousie: She really does have a thing for military guys.
Me: You win at life.
Mr. Dangermousie: You mean that board game with little plastic pieces in it?
I love my husband as our family is geek paradise.
"Mummy Returns" is also on SciFi and I want the skanky painted-out outfits. Not that I could wear them anywhere but still.
Also, saw "Proof" with the wonderful
winterspel. Very, very good movie.

Date: 2005-10-21 03:14 am (UTC)I also love seeing actors in other roles. I always think of them as their original characters. Like on Monday night. I watched Las Vegas (don't ask) and there was Nina from 24! Bart and I said "No!! Don't trust her! She's evvvviiilll!" But to no avail.
We're geeks, too. *g*

Date: 2005-10-21 03:17 am (UTC)Mummy Returns is enjoyable ... but not quite so .... :) Also the skanky painted outfits would be annoying, you'd be leaving traces of glitter all over the place, so impractical!

Date: 2005-10-21 03:37 am (UTC)OMG, are you pregnant?
Anyway, your bickering is generally fun. For the reading pleasure of your lj friends, I'd just like to state that Dangermousie and her husband play-bicker as though they are on the set of an indie movie.

Date: 2005-10-21 04:06 am (UTC)Yup, they are totally fun.
Re: The Rock (would it make "The" his first name?) I never got around to watching Scorpion King...I am so intrigued by the huge cheesy factor though...

Date: 2005-10-21 04:25 am (UTC)Actually his real name is Dwayne Johnson, so The Rock is a little less Dwayne-ey I guess...
I never saw Scorpion King either, but apparently we have it on DVD. Of course, almost all of our DVD's are packed up, due to the garage fire (happened July 22), along with just about everything else.
I really wanted to see Scorpion King too, simply for the factor of cheese. It looked funny and the chick who played the sorceress was really hot.

Date: 2005-10-21 04:33 am (UTC)I know The Rock's real name, but since his stage name is "The Rock" this really would make his stage first name "The" :P

Date: 2005-10-21 04:45 am (UTC)Sorry, I'm slow. His first name must be 'The'.
dumb fun is always good, right? Think 'Dodgeball', I've been watching that movie, like, once a day (not much else on) and I Love Alan Tudyk as Steve the Pirate, "Gar!"
