1. In 'kpop fans are crazy' news of the day, omona posted something on Se7en (what kind of name is it anyway, seriously?) and the write-up mentioned that once he admitted he is dating Han Byul, membership of his fanclub dropped by 100k asap. People are insane. I have no opinion of Se7en's talent (have never heard him, seen him, and would not recognize his picture if presented with it. All I know is he is a kpop idol with a freaky name) but seriously - do kpop fans expect their objects of idolatry to remain virgins forever or hit on their underaged jaibait selves instead of having normal relationships? Craaaazy. Btw, that is why I like Han Byul (you may have seen her as secondary girl in Oh My Lady) - I don't think she is much of an actress but anyone who can put up with dating an idol for 8 years, most of them in secret and the rest with insane and angry fangirl stalker hordes, has my metaphorical hat off to her, especially since they are still together.

2. I found myself with some time and watched ep 3 of Gumiho Girlfriend. Hmmm. I still find myself fast-forwarding (what is the point of the Aunt and Chow Yun Fat lookalike, again?) and I still do not care for anyone but at least I had a moment of strong emotion. A pity that emotion was the desire to stab Dae Woong in the face after he dumped Gumiho on the river. WTF who does that? Ugh.

3. Being on a mini-Wallace Huo binge, I decided to check out A Mobile Love Story. But being canny and knowing how cdramas tend to devolve into "everyone dies! painfully!" no matter the fluffy premise, I decided to be smart and check out the last ep first. Good move on my part - he married his old ex who was dying and she died during the wedding in his arms. And he didn't get his OTP either. And now I saved myself 20 eps of watching with such and ending in store. On the plus side, Wallace is pretty. Yay.



4. Even though I haven't progressed much into Baker King since last post, being distracted, I continue to love it. Though I am beginning to suspect Ma Jun is hounding Tak Gu because he bears a 'love that dare not speak its name' towards him. Seriously.















But who could blame him? Tak Gu breaks so beautifully!














We also just met Eugene and I think I may be shipping her with Ma Jun.











4. Also, mmmm, secondary OTP of Partner. I know he is an adulterer with generally iffy morals and she is totally OK she is sleeping with a married man but I SHIP THEM SO HARD IT'S INSANE.

Hmm, Baker King. I stopped watching after I got bored at some point (can't really remember when), but I also suspect the same about Majun. I also suspect the writers decided to cash in on the slash vibes or something, because I randomly happened upon this cut (I personally have no idea what's happening, but slight spoilers anyhow!):



But yeah, MGIAG! Gahhh, Daewoong leaving her on the boat made me so angry at him, but the whole fox-rain thing was really well done. I've heard the term used before so seeing it in the drama like that was pretty cool, ngl.

As I skipped episodes 3-6 of Baker King, funnily enough we are at exactly the same point in the drama - I just watched that ep today. You were right about Yoon Shi Yoon, the main guy - he's pretty hot and highly, HIGHLY charismatic. Can't wait to see him mature as both an actor and a person.

I was really excited to see Eugene appear because while the poor girl is not a good actress at all, she's got oodless of charm and this weird sunshiney prettiness that I've always found very endearing. Have had a soft spot for her ever since Creating Destiny, so I'm shipping her with Tak Gu out of principle (other girl is also endearing but not really my thing)

A Mobile Love Story is a drama that actually has two endings. In one, Wallace gets back with the ex, who dies; in the other, he gets the new OTP played by Cecilia Han. Since it was a co-production between Mainland China and Singapore, the production wanted two endings to make each country happy - Wallace gets Cecilia in the Mainland version and Christopher Lee gets Cecilia in the Singapore version.

What?! You don't know who Se7en is? hehe. Not surprised. I think he was supposed to be the next Rain, a big international singing and dancing star. Didn't quite work out that way as he was away from Korea for 3 years trying to make it in America as a singer.

That's why I kinda wonder about his fan club numbers. I would imagine they would have been dropping anyway, since he hasn't promoted in Korea until his comeback this month.

Oh, and he tried acting in Goong S, the sequel of sorts to Goong. Didn't see it, but apparently it was a bust.

From what I heard, a lot of his fans left because they felt "betrayed". He denied being in a relationship for years and even when pictures of the two of them leaked out, he still lied and said they were just friends.

But considering how obsessive and intrusive a lot of these fans are, I certainly don't blame him.

I just read up on the Se7en and Han Byul relationship. How cute. It must be nice to meet your life partner in high school :) I don't care about the netizens. I think some fans committed suicide when Kimura Takuya got married. Talk about insanity.

I saw the first four episodes of Partner then lost interest. Now that I'm extremely bored with nothing to watch, perhaps I'll pick it up again.
