So, ep 16 of Bad Guy came out and apparently in it it is revealed that what I suspected is indeed true - Gun Wook is the "real" Tae Sung, i.e. President Hong's biological kid. My main thought on this was - OMFG - poor poor Tae Sung (i.e. the 'new' one, Kim Jae Wook's character). That is truly horrifying - basically he got dragged away from his nice-looking and loving mother to be dumped into the nightmare Hong household to be completely screwed-up and broken and brought up with no love but a nice heaping of emotional abuse, and it was all a result of a total lie - done by Mrs Shin as a way to get rid of real biological kid. He has nothing to do with the Hongs whatsoever yet they totally ruined his life and fucked him up and they are not even his family and - oh man, if he wasn't broken enough already. ARGH!!!!!!!! That really is truly truly awful. He could have just been brought up in Japan by his Mom and grown up nice and well-adjusted and loved and happy. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they don't give him at least a hope of a happy future after all of this, I am flying to Korea to strangle the writer myself.

I think I'm done with Bad Guy, it would take a miracle in tomorrow's episode for me to press on. I really did not expect a happy ending but this breed of nonsense that's currently going on is irritating me.

Even now, with all the spoilers out, I'm most concerned for TS and just in general shock that he was just collateral damage for both Mrs. Shin and Gun Wook.

Like that plot twist wasn't obvious at all. I just hope everything gets resolved at least somewhat decently.

On the bad news front, TS slowly gets his heart torn to little pieces by everyone. The good news is that he gets plenty of screen time in episode 16 and makes you really like his character.

argh!!! I'm so angry now!! My poor poor TS, he suffered all for nothing!!! And the way things look now, he might not even get a happily ever after with JI, since she's confessed to GW and it's unlikely that she'll change her mind in the last episode....argh argh argh.....

argh argh argh, the only way the writers can salvage this if they let him run away (with all the money) and let him meet Song Hye Gyo (in a cameo) in Bali and let them fall madly in love and live happily ever after...I DEMAND SATISFACTION!!!

I will press on with ep 17 tomorrow only because I am still holding out the TINIEST of hope for a semi-happy ending for TS, somehow, someway. I had high hopes for TS/JI, but I don't feel like shipping them anymore – sorry, I know you adore her but the way she strung him along in ep 15 peeved me off. The rest of the cast can go get bumped off, I just want TS to be able to follow his own little rainbow till he finds his dream of happiness. Failing which, please allow me to join you in forming an orderly queue to strangle the writer.

omg... Ep 16/17 made me hate this drama. I felt like I wasted my emotional investment that I made for my bb Kim Jae Wook at Taesung, who to me was the ONLY likeable/enviable character this mess of a drama.
