Getting very very nervous about the ending of Bad Guy (not spoilery just ranty)

Apparently Oh Yeon Soo (who plays Taera) posted on her twitter that "We shot scenes overnight for Bad Guy, and now I'm on my way to shoot at another location. Gun Wook, Tae Ra, Jae In, and Tae Sung... I feel so bad for them all. My heart breaks for them... Even when I'm done shooting, tears still come out." (trans soompier)

Argh! Can I hope that her heart breaks because they all really really wanted ice-cream and the store was all out?

Actually, let me be blunt - I don't care about what happens to Gun Wook and Tae Ra - Gun Wook brought anything bad on himself through being a vengeance bunny and while I sympathize with Tae Ra, I am not emotionally attached to her. If they get killed by insane Madam Shin or squished by a speeding truck or eaten by the first alligator Seoul has ever seen outside the zoo, I will feel mildly sorry but I will be totally fine. Heck, if that means Tae Sung and Jae In will be fine, I'll sacrifice them gladly.

Because yes, drama! You can do what you like to GW and TR but don't you dare destroy my Jae In and Tae Sung. They haven't done anything wrong and I love them to an unhealthy degree. I don't even mind if they don't end up together, but they better have some hope for their lives being good at the end.

Grrrr. That is what I get for (a) falling for characters in a vengeance drama and (b) starting a vengeance drama before it's done and thus ending is unknown.

Just wanted to say I will be feeling nervous right along with you. That tweet made me ill. If TS is sacrificed, I will NEVER be the same again. I will be broken and just getting another drama BF won't help at all. Especially if TS turns out to be not the... well, after ep 15, people are speculating like mad. If that is true and I so fear it might be, that would make KJW's TS nothing more than a poor innocent boy, snatched from the life he could've had with a warm-looking mom only to be dragged into (and possibly harmed/die?! in) the evil mire that he had no part at all in creating. If I say anything more about how mind-boggling this is, my head is going to explode. For real.

Yes, I am getting pretty sure TS is not the real son in which case he went through all the horribleness for nothing - I want him to at least emerge happily out of all this mess - he had nothing to do with any of it and is even more of a victim than GW is.

I am soooo worried about the ending too. I'm not emotionally attached to Gun Wook and Tae Ra either-although I do feel bad for her, but if Tae Sung/Jae In are badly hurt or killed, I will be severely depressed for days. Gun Wook already annoys the hell out of me, but I could really hate him if he does not spare Tae Sung. What, hasn't he noticed yet that Tae Sung suffered a lot too ? What I do not like with Gun Wook, it's that he is blind to other people suffering. He can only see his own pain, and I hate the way he makes the Hong kids -who seem pretty much innocent to me - suffer by toying with their feelings. That's absolutely evil, and rather unforgivable. He can get his revenge against the Hong parents, I don't mind at all and I think they deserve it. But not Tae Sung, Tae Ra and Monet. They did nothing wrong to Gun Wook. And Jae In ! God, I hope this strong-headed woman will not be destroyed because of Gun Wook's blind hatred for the Hongs. She is a worthy heroin and not the whining type at all, and I do like it. However, I find her "change of heart" not very believable in the later episodes ; it seemed to me that she had genuine feelings for Tae Sung, even if she first seduced him for his status. And then, all of the sudden, BAM, she's madly in love with Gun Wook...not convincing at all. Well, not for me at least. The actress herself seems pretty much uncomfortable in her romance scenes with Gun Wook... I think the chemistry is way more sizzling with Tae Sung. And plot-wise, more exciting. Fighting, wounded Tae Sung and strong Jae In ! I'm very afraid that they die at the end of the show, but even more by the obvious fact that they will be thoroughly hurt -psychologically, especially Tae Sung- in the process. My heart is breaking for them.
PS : I'm sorry for my so-so English, I'm French...

Exactly. I find GW off-putting, more so because he does not grow or change at all no matter which facts are presented.

And I also cannot buy Jae In's switch because they didn't have too many scenes, but also, importantly, they have almost no chemistry between them (not like HGI does with KJW). Blah.

I don't want TS hurt - he is fragile already.

I finally caught up with the drama, and I have a feeling it's going to end badly. I mean with everything that is going on and all the vengeance somebody will end up dead. The only ending I can see where everyone is happy is if Gun Wook dies. Either that, or maybe they're gonna kill all four of them.

Yeah, umm, yeah. I'm on a mini-hiatus until I know how this all ends because if this goes epically off the deep end I am OUT. I've been getting mass suicide/everyone withers away from depression vibes for the last couple of days so I don't expect anything good at this point.

I'm torn because part of me really doesn't want to stop watching but the other part doesn't want to get so invested (and I'm pretty much there, admittedly) that I'll be upset if something happens to TS in the end. And I don't include JI in that only because I think she's made of pretty strong stuff but Tae-Sung, he's teetering on the brink of total disaster, one more thing and he's gone.

I would feel awful for TS if bad stuff happens to him - none of it is his fault and he is a victim as much as GW (more, if the rumors of GW being the real son are true) and just - he is my favorite character, argh.

yeah... as much as i love jae in and ESPECIALLY tae sung, it's getting less romantic to me as it goes along. not because it doesn't have JI/TS shippy moments - just because i've stopped buying that jae in could really love tae sung. sigh. it's only romantic when both are sooo into each other and not others (hence my love for hana yori dango, ISWAK and coffee prince). gun wook is intruding on my shippy love and since we know from the spoiler that *that* ain't gonna end well for jae in it leaves tae sung. but they keep pushing gun wook as the OTP so that she seems uninterested in TS. if it's not genuine, even if they do end up together, it won't be satisfying.

i want a happy ending for tae sung so badly! whyyy wasn't he the OTP? whyyy!

I just can't buy GW/JI no matter how much the drama keeps pushing it = it's sudden and there is no chemistry or vibe other than then friendly one. Weird.

I can't either. GW/JI feels so much sudden and fake to me. They didn't gradually build the romantic relationship, no,it just HAPPENED suddendly, and honestly, I just don't understand HOW and WHY.

While GW has showed a mild interest since the earlier episodes, it is definitely not the case with Jae In. I'm angry with it, because I think this unbelievable switch in relationships decridibilizes in a way Jae In's character, who was, until recently, pretty coherent and level-headed.

Don't be mistaken, she's still my second favourite character after Tae Sung, but I do not like what the writers did with her in the last 3 episodes. Now sometimes she just looks like ANOTHER woman who is (inexplicably, because apart from being hot, I don't see anything special or even human in GW) head over heels in love with the hero, GW. I hate that she is suddenly beginning to act like one of these classic kdrama heroins. She's worth more than that !

Ah hem...sorry for my rants...it's just SO incredibly frustrating !

A big problem, to me, is the lack of chemistry - if a couple has sizzling chemistry, they can sell me on the pairing even if the writing is lacking. But here? They have no chemistry at all.
