Hu Ge and Bai Bing who played the OTP of The Myth are apparently costarring again in a contemporary romcom drama called Bitter Coffee which started last month.

The trailer is v.v. cute (even if it's odd to see them out of period gear).

Pity it's never going to be subbed.

Hmmm, I think once I finish with The Myth, I have to take a break from my plan to marathon Hu Ge dramas. I mean, The Myth alone was so depressing I wanted to bang my head against the wall, if I marathonned more dramas like this without a break, I'd take to drinking.

Something fluffy for me next! Probably Coffee House (speaking of coffee)

If I just want to check out Hu Ge and his storyline in The Myth can I skip the other parts and that still makes sense? It's because I can't handle depressing dramas but he's so pretty that I'd like to watch. (where can I find the eps?)

Light and fun with serious undertones and lots of chemistry ^^
I also love My Country Calls very very much. If it continues like that it will easily become one of my all time favourites. It's fluffy and extremely funny, so it would be a possible candidate. I remember you talking about it some time ago and liking it quite a lot :)

I'm watching Coffee House and am enjoying it. I don't have expectations of a great story. It's just funny and enjoyable every episode.

I really love Coffee House. It's really sweet (and there is some angst!!!--some...-- ). Though their coffee looks more like "socks juice" (as we would say in French) to me. And the main actor is reallyyyy cute! :-)
PLUS: they do not have ANY sword or desire to eviscerate anybody!

I gave up The Myth and wuxia in general. I tried Chinese Paladin 3 but then I learned there's no happy ending there either... Anyway I cannot find ep29 on streaming so I left main OTP flying happily on their magical sword... Too bad, I like Hu Ge...
