1. There are so many awesome Pi Li MIT mvs out there. Have another one.

I feel a twdrama kick coming on. I find some of them too OTT for my tastes but when they do it for me, they do it in a way no other dramas do (my first two dramas ever were twdramas, I believe I imprinted).

2. It's official, I finally gave up on Cinderella Unni - I am never catching up on it - no interest. There is very little romance, it's primairly family-based drama and there are few things that bore me more than family melodramas. Sorry, CU, it was fun in the beginning but then you turned out to be different from what I wanted.

Lucifer's probably the only girl persistant enough to put up with his general lack of social skills. Or make up for them, even. He's a massively pretty young thing though, I'll give him that.

Yes - despite the looks I can't see him ever have much luck with girlfriends normally - he's prickly and much too smart and really socially awkward. Lucifer's cheery unconcern over it all is pretty awesome.

HAHA! I'm actually watching it mainly because of the sister's relationship and bonding. The only things I actually love about it are the touching moments between the sisters and sometimes the mom. Otherwise, the love story is just too half-baked for me to really feel anything about it so I really don't care much for it.

But, yeah, stuffs between Eun Jo and Hyo Sun are just GOLD. They never fail to make me tear up. I am way more invested in these girls than I am with the guys. The guys are just plain decorative and Ki Hoon's character is just pathetically useless!

See - I found out wth CU that family stuff doesn't interest me at all. I'd ship EJ and HS though if one of them was a guy :)

I went hunting and watched that MV yesterday - or rather part of it because I didn't want to be too spoiled(I'm really careful especially with stuff like twdramas where the OTP interactions tend to be a lot more spread out than in kdramas not to spoil myself - because it's so easy to watch all the climactic scenes in an MV and then just not feel the impact the same way).

but yesssss. After this I started wondering if there were any absolutely awesome twdramas out there beyond this that I missed - I'd kind of given up on twdramas after getting into kdramas and jdramas so much because both are more consistent - but when all's said and done twdramas were still my first love, and Mars is still my favorite drama. Problem is, I really don't know what else is out there because I'm picky with Taiwanese actors and don't like Ariel Lin or Chen Qiao En(whatever her name is) nor am I particularly fond of Wu Zun or Ming Dao...which cancels out all the remaining famous dramas I haven't seen yet.


I was tempted to try CU during the first two eps but I just got a bad feeling about how angsty it would be and I am so so glad I stayed away.

Hmmm, all the twdramas I can think to rec have angsty endings. Let me think though...

Pili MIT, despite being super bad at the suspense bit, is rather charming, what with robo!Aaron Yan, cutesy [spoiler] yet significantly named Lucifer both playing Mad Libs with school drama conventions. It's a shame they couldn't decide between thriller and comedy - I think a darker vibe would have really worked.

And there is action between the OTP! Though it is also a university with blazers and uniformly hoo-ha, so yeah.

I think if it was darker though, it would put off a lot of viewers - twdrama fans seem to like it cracky.

Imprinting on twdrama ftw! Which ones did you start with? It seems to be a trend, this imprinting. I mean, look at me with my 40-ep cdramas.

Mars was first and Meteor Garden was second. Hanadan was third :) (I didn't get into kdrama until much later, with Full House).

In some ways, I still love a good twdrama the most.

I am only on ep 5 (I know, I know) so haven't gotten to the dark stuff yet - they are still a funny misfit bunch solving random crimes.
