I am way behind on Pi Li MIT, still being on ep 5, but I think I nearly melted in my seat seeing this:





Oh God, they are beyond adorable. And, rather shockingly, well-adjusted.

Though seeing that the creepy crimes are getting more and more serious, I keep wondering why on earth nobody calls the cops ever. Half the students are maniacs and should, by rights, be in prison. I mean, a teen Sherlock Holmes and associates is all very well but what these guys need is jailtime.

I am so curious about the mastermind of those 'game disks' - the person who creates all these nightmare scenarios allowing students to act out their ids. I suppose he's Moriarti to 007's Holmes. (Would that make Lucifer his Watson and thus we got Holmes/Watson slash? LOL).

Pi Li MIT is so low-concept and yet so giddy...I've become an insane person watching it, the OTP is just so well done!

re: the cop thing. Ha ha, I thought that the first couple of eps(and later on the in the drama some students do really, really, awful jail-worthy things and the worst thing that happens to them is they're expelled or transferred) but I chose to accept it as part of the drama's world - I mean the college is so self-enclosed, such a little world on its own that most of the time the existence of the outer society doesn't even seem to register that much.

sigh. I want an icon.

I sort of adore 007. Not only is the actor gorgeous, but I just sort of like him. He doesn't really like people, yet part of him also seems to want to connect. And Lucifer is cute as buttons.

Yeah, I like him a lot too - it's a type I don't see much in dramas (which prefer their men either bastardy or super-emo) but a favorite of mine in fiction whenever it does appear - a smart introvert who is nontheless a good guy. For some reason the show is giving me a manga vibe - I know it's not based on one but it feels like it is.

Btw, the actor is in a very very popular Taiwanese boyband and when we were in Hong Kong had his face plastered all over stuff selling coke. It is a little weird to see him not in shiny clothes holding up a soda can :)

You're right about the manga vibe. 007 completely reminds me of the stereotypical icy male in high school set manga. I'm not sure WHAT it is about drama and the fascination with the bastard trope. There are just some people that you shouldn't try to redeem for love. And super emo has never really set well with me, so obviously me and kdrama (or jdrama or ANY of them really) never really clicked.
