I've put this show on pause for now since I'm in a comedy drama kind of mood. I'll probably go back to it though since the main actors are great.
I don't know if you're still following Yankee-kun to Megane-chan but you can watch it in pretty good quality with subs here: http://www.wat.tv/video/y2a-2p8e9_2o6df_.html This link is for episode 2 and it was originally on drama crazy. I just linked directly to the wat site because on drama crazy the embedded video is cut off strangely. So far, I'm really enjoying the show because Narimiya has incredible charisma.
It really is getting interesting. And that hug! It was about darn time they had some skinship!
But, the truth is, there has been a lot of angst and sadness. But, also a lot of growth for these people. We now know why KH has been so rough. And, we know that EJ really loves HS and is trying to protect her. Hell, even KS, has shown remorse for the way she acted in regard to her husband - i.e. using him.
I always thought the first four episodes were so light with lots of OTP moments, because the writer knew we'd have to suffer through ten whole episodes of longing and ANGST in regard to the OTP. Now, it is paying off.
I'll be interested to read your thoughts and if stay on team HS. Frankly, HS stopped bugging me so much (I sort of nearly hated her until episode 10 or 11) after DS's death. The only thing - I wish she'd stop going back to KH. There are only so many times a person can reject you.
I still haven't caught up, either. I wanted to rewatch the first 6 episodes I've seen because I had watched them without subs. But yeah, that demands time. And I rather spend my time playing Sims these days >.> Maybe this evening :)
It really is good now :) There's talk of KH bringing home EJ, working together and having babies. Though the shippy moments are limited, there's more to like in the EJ-HS sisterhood front.
