EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Kim Tae Hee has been cast opposite Song Seung Heon in My Princess, the upcoming ronantic drama by the writer of City Hall.

*cue unearthly screaming*

So much male and female hotness and beauty in one drama is pretty insane.

Also, this may be a minority opinion but I truly adore Kim Tae Hee - she always plays strong, intelligent women and picks roles that are suited to her. Of my hormonal love for SSH, the less said the better :)

YAY!!!

This is random but i lol each time i keep having to use Google images to figure out who you're talking about. Some names are beginning to stick to faces (I think your StH recaps have made my mental snapshot of KTH as some evil bug eyed villainess XD) though! And i just read the post by javabeans who seems pretty harsh on the leads but then that person (i'm tempted to say she and it probably is but the mental image of a guy doing the website and being so... catty is lol. XD) seems to be the type to have favourites and blindly bitch/ignore everyone else.

I said this was random lol.

Yeah, dramabeans doesn't like either of them. I, OTOH, adore them both. He was great in East of Eden and she played my favorite heroine ever in IRIS.

You know, i should get you to do some sort of, 'Who's Who' in kdrama-land 'cos honestly, i don't know sometimes.

KTH - Not always so evil eyed i see. XD But yeah, i can totally see the hot prettiness of the two.

I don't get how... biased dramabeans can be. Well, i suppose i CAN but it just smacks of, 'This is MY opinion and it is the RIGHT one so anything else must be WRONG OR ELSE.' From the comments you and others have made anyone who says otherwise seems to get shot down.

LOL, I'd love to do one.

KTH started out as evil girl and then went on to play heroines. She's more suited for the latter anyway.

Yeah, dramabeans is biased but that's not too bad - the commenters are often insane though.

Really? Cool! I bet if you did do one though, you'd end up hurting someone's feelings 'cos you know, insane fans are insane. See dramabeans. ¬___¬

I wonder if the opposite is possible? You know, from playing heroines to evil leads.

I'm interested but I've been so disappointed with Korean romantic comedies lately. It's like they all are so predictable and slow and I think it was on Dahee's blog that I read (and agreed) that it seems like the writers and producers in Korea just aren't even trying anymore. There's 1 or 2 good dramas for every 15 that get put out there. I like that Korean dramas are short (with 16-20 episodes) but now I realize that it could be detrimental as well. It could mean that because they're so rushed to put a new drama out in 2 months, the story suffers. Every once in a while I'll get shocked by a good or new/refreshing drama but mostly? Not really.

I don't know - I think 2010 so far has been a great year but to each his/her own (I enjoy Dahee's blog but that lady rarely likes anything - I don't think I could watch kdrama at all if I liked as little of it as she did).

I've enjoyed at least 3 romcoms this year so far (Pick the Stars, Prosecutor Princess and Personal Taste) which given that romcoms are not a huge fave genre for me, is a lot :)

I'd love them to do another drama together but kdrama world doesnt like repeats so chances are slim. Booo.

hahaha I was really amused reading Dramabeans just now because just as snarky as she was about it I knew you'd be equivalently excited, and sure enough I find this when I head over.

I actually haven't seen Kim Tae Hee in...anything, so as I've heard a lot of differing reports I will reserve my opinion until I see the drama. Though that one still did look awful *shudders*

If you want to check out KTH, I suggest Love Story in Harvard. The Engrish in first few eps is horrifying but she is adorable as this strong-willed awesome premed, and it's very shippy and has a happy ending - yup, terminal illness with a happy ending. It's the only drama outside Beautiful Days where I've seen that.
