He is pretty, isn't he? Although I could never like Joaquin Phoenix ever since I saw him hitting on his sister in "Gladiator". I'll all about the non-incestuous incest (aka "boonecest) as a literary device, but never actual incest.

joaquin is my favorite actor. i got to meet him one time when i was doing catering. he is even more hot in real life, and adorable and friendly and OOOOHHH just the most gorgeous guy ever.
anyway, i hope you have seen Ladder 49, the Village and Buffalo Soldiers!!

i think he was the hottest in Gladiator (hey, i'd be his sister) and when he was all young and skinny in the old ones like Clay Pigeons.. btw if you like Joaquin you will like Carlos D from the band Interpol as they look SO much alike!!

Here's the deal with Joaquin. He doesn't look a whole lot like Cash when you're just looking at him, but he's a good enough actor that when he portrays himself like Cash he seems like the spitting image. I personally think he's at his hottest in Quills, but I know that's because I have a thing for hot guys in priest's clothing (the "look but don't touch" syndrom).

But whenever I look at close-ups of his face, I always think it looks like he's had a cleft lip repaired. It looks like a real obvious scar.

I don't know if that's the case with him, of course, but he really does seem to have a prominent scar in just the right place.
