I think the scene where Jun Pyo rescues Jandi from the bullying after incriminating photos of her with a guy in bed, and takes her home to fix her up, is my favorite scene in Korean Hana Yori Dango so far. It turns me into a 12-year-old! But. BUT. I still miss the confessions and smoochies from the manga (why so prudish, kdrama? Twdrama had no problem with necking :D).

hi! you dont know me but...I like reading your lj XD I've been getting into kdramas more lately and I like reading your lj for kdrama news and reviews and the flaily caps yay :D so on that note...can I friend you? ^^;

Actually I liked the way the kdrama did everything so far but I am a bit sad at the lack of confession and kiss but i get the feeling that they left it out for their own plotting reasons and not cause it's risque, since it's just a kiss and confession. i'm kind of glad they did this since something i always felt bothered by was doumyoji admits he loves her, and i dont ever remember her saying she didnt feel the same and she cant return his feelings and yet he drags her along thinking they are even and next ya thing ya know she's kissing rui -_- which wasnt entirely her fault, since rui was a jerk to do that knowing his friend likes this person and thinks they are together. but still i wish she'd just have been more in control of her situations. but she's a teen girl i guess. though i was 15 when i read it and still felt that way but then i was a very....odd 15 yr old girl XD
hee anyway, even though she doesnt tell jun pyo right out NO i dont like you in kdrama version either, she's imho been alot more clear about it and he's not gone as far as saying he loves her sincerely yet. even though it's kind of obvious XD well maybe just to us. lol

I agree. They probably want to make it more "epic." Hmmm, I wonder when they will have the big confession? Maybe after the whole Junpei thing? That would be very dramatic.

I cut Jandi more slack though because she is so confused and she did crush on Rui forever. But I do agree - don't want to date Jun Pyo, don't. But at least tell him you are not interested!

The manga wasn't the best, that's true... by that time the grapic wasn't the best still. It only gets better after the 10th volume or so... but the anime made it all better. And the taiwanese version was great too! ^.^

I couldn't get used to the anime art style at all (pastels, odd drawing style) but the story was so good it drew me in anyway.
