XD Sorry, I can't help it... as I look at it the words just fly around my head. I'm sitting on nails too for next week's episode. ^^ But... while the story is only at the beginning if they have that date (and maybe the elevator-scene <3) isn't the story going to quick...? They planned 24 episodes, or is that information wrong?

Nope, 24 eps. I bet this doesn't happen till sometime in ep 4 though: they have a lot to cram in beforehand: Rui/Shizuka making out and Rui leaving for France. Makino and Domyouji's first kiss (if you can call it that :D) which, I agree with

And then the way they dress Makino... is it some plot to put her into expensive clothes that make her look more poor than she is? Both the black dress, and the pink with the white fluff was so strange on her. Is that only me?
Oh, the party and Makino throwing up... that is the part where she meets Sakurako first... Well, it's not from my favorite parts, but right after it... you know where Doumyouji attacks Makino. I really love it, how, even though he is as mad as he gets, he still is so very gentle with her. <3

Also, I was thinking about your comment about CPR being this version's take on the accidental kiss, and I totally think you are right! Someone as thick as Domyouji would totally treat it as a real kiss and it's a more believable situation than tripping and falling on people's lips :)

I have such a thing for tall guy/short girl combos, I can't tell you! I see this is shared by many whose blogs I read, and I'm beginning to wonder if this kink is something that all short women share ;-) (I'm 154cm, which is less than 5'2", and I'm sure I've seen you mention that you're short yourself, correct?)
I really really want a gif icon of that scene!

Yeah, he would so misinterpret something like that, wouldn't he? No matter how many times she says passionately that she hates his guts, he'll take the smallest sign of 'affection' and run with it! So yup, I think CPR is more likely than accidental kissing in this version. (Because honestly, even in high heels, she's still nowhere near his lips! Unless they did the good old tried-and-true 'they trip and end up sprawled and lip-locked' thing.)

Delusion is a comfy place to live in, clearly! I bet part of it is because he is so stuck on her, he doesn't want to contemplate her not liking him back because it would be too awful for him, and also because he is very full of himself and can't fully process someone will not like him.

Most definitely. And what I've absolutely loved about this version is that, much more so than the other two live action adapatations, they've shown just how much he gets hooked on her from the very beginning, and because he's not one for self-analysis, he never wonders why the idea of her liking him is making him so delighted. Ah, Tsukasa/ Jun-pyo.

There might be something in that; your mind and your personality might say one thing (including 'I can take care of myself, thank you!'), but what the body/hind-brain/instincts (or whatever you want to call it) tell you can be quite different :-). And I imagine the inverse holds true for men, too: a small woman can definitely engage the protective instincts.
