New set of clips for Korean Hana Yori Dango/Boys Over Flowers just came out (thank you, salimbol, for pointing me towards it):

There are very very few new clips here, but the quality is much better than the fancam.

Also, I knew they were going to include it, but let me reiterate my squee at the whole Rui and Makino smooch on the beach with Domyouji observing, bit. I always love that part. I might be a D/M shipper but that boy needs a lot of trouble to mature him at least a bit, and there is something very aesthetically pretty about Rui smoochies :)

Plus, this guy has been cast as Junpei. He is certainly suitably model-looking:



I know Junpei is a bad guy and all, but I rather adore him. Maybe because I think few drama heroes deserve a thorough, life-threatening beat-down as much as Domyouji, and let's face it, Junpei is pretty justified in his wrath. Also, Junpei is one of the few hot guys in the manga that came into Makino's vicinity and did not fall for her total spunk. I find his last appearance in the story pretty awesome. He has the nerve to barge into the hospital and be all 'ehhh, I still hate you, Domyouji, pity your spleen is still attached, but hey Makino, you are cool despite your awful taste in men, so if you wanna be friends...' or similar.

In other news, I finished Corner with Love which was adorable and very pretty (OMG, all the kissing! And the scene in the rain when he comforts her!) but the ending was a bit drawn out and I wanted to shake the two of them and make them get together sooner.

Ohhh I highly approve of Junpei *__*. Then again I fell in love with Toma in HYD so I will always love Junpei no matter what I think.

I'm really anticipating Boys Over Flowers. Everything seems shiny and perfect.

I was disappointed in the last episode of CWL. The drama should have ended when she ran after him from the restaurant & that kiss. Although I did love their one-glorious-day/date thing. But the way it turned painting-ish while she ran, he smiled & then we get a little epilogue where their relationship seems to still be dating/fighting was disappointing.

Lord, that is one tasty looking Junpei. I'm looking forward to KHYD, but I still have my reservations. Take it an episode at a time, and we'll see what happens. Incidentally, there's a Meteor Garden marathon going on at my house right now for New Year's. ;)

You're welcome :-). The kiss scene looks very nicely done - and what a lovely smooth speaking voice the Ji-hoo actor has. I approve! Lee Min-ho is getting hotter every time I look at him (I also approve of this heartily ;-). And Junpei is one of my favourite secondary characters, plus he brings about one of the coolest parts of the entire story; I like the look of this Junpei! I really can't wait for this to start now *fidget fidget*.

That's my one worry, actually - that we're working ourselves into a frenzy of excitement for something that may not deliver. Going by everything we've seen so far, I'm quite confident, but that's not to say it couldn't all turn to custard :-). Fingers crossed, eh? And not long to wait now!

Although the fashions in this looks to be vile, I mean, what on earth was Doumyoji wearing in that scene where he gave Makino the bracelet???

And, just so I can play my usual game of identifying what car manufacturer is 'sponsoring' any particular drama, does anyone know what make the cars are in the second clip?
