Drama Babble...
Oct. 14th, 2008 04:39 pmWhat's not to love? Two trailers:
My upcoming most anticipated 2009 kdramas are one of the following three:
* Worlds Within
* IRIS: which stars the awesome Lee Byung Hun in his return to dramaworld. I'd watch anything with LBH, but this has international spies, angsty love story, and is possibly based on the wonderful movie Shiri.
* Triple: figureskaters, the PD of Coffee Prince, and the triple of hotness that is Kang Ji Hwan, Yoon Kye Sang, and Lee Sun Gyun
I am also excited for:
* Hana Yori Dango (duh)
* Star's Lover: Yoo Ji Tae and Choi Ji Woo (double swoon), with the whole 'normal guy in love with a star' storyline
Though, of course, if the rumored Yoon Eun Hye and Joo Ji Hoon romcom kdrama happens, all bets are off.
And in conclusion, is it any wonder I love Korean dramas? Normally, the whole plot cliche of "he is wounded and she takes care of him. In a cave" would only be in fic, but lovely Kingdom of the Winds believes in being very good to fangirls:

Date: 2008-10-14 11:17 pm (UTC)I'm curious about Triple. I mean, I like figure skating, but I never watched a figure skating drama... As long as it promises to have a plot and not like, competition after competition to be the 'world's best figure skater, etc etc', I'm up for it.

Date: 2008-12-10 01:52 pm (UTC)I wasnt going to watch tazza or kingdom of winds or east of eden, but i've finally cracked and will give it a go! I never recovered from Autumn Love or tale or whatever it's called starring the Song Seung dude from East of Eden.
on the other had, i really want to watch When It's At Night and The Worlds Within even if they don't seem to be doing well.
