At least according to Popseoul.

Cute. Like puppies.

Yup, it seems that Kim Bum and Kim So Eun, who played Yi Jung and Ga Eul in last year's kdrama hit Boys Over Flowers are doing the whole 'on-screen couple who becomes off-screen couple to encourage all the crazed RPshippers in their hopes' thing.

Since by the end of the BOF trainwreck, Yi Jung and Ga Eul's story was the sole reason I kept watching, I confess to emitting an "awwwwwwww."

They go to the same university, too. Double-awwww. It's like some sort of a kdrama in itself, if it's true.

(Side note: I adore Kim Bum, if more for East of Eden than BOF, but it's sort of funny - since BOF he's been frantically busy doing acting stuff - two movies and an upcoming drama. WTF is "it" boy costar Lee Min Ho doing not having any acting gigs on the horizon? Dunkin Donut ads will only get you so far and a demonstration of talent they are not. I like LMH, but come on! Do something! Seriously - he was the best part of the drama during the first half and he would have been the very best Domyouji out there if it wasn't for the insane screenwriter, so I want to see him in more stuff.)

WHAT??what?? I adored them in this, though I wasn't a rabid shipper at the time, I was too busy fixating on the trainwreckness and Kim Hyung Joong, but looking back they were one of the few bright spots in BOF, and they're both so cute and photogenic..I'm going to be over the moon if this is true:)

It's probably not however.

The tranwreckiness really did take over everything, didn't it?

How gorgeous would their children be?

No, I'm not over-fantasizing... no way...

Why isn't Lee Min Ho doing anything? :(

It's a Korean conspiracy, I swear -- they hoard their stars and ration them so strictly we'll watch whatever crap they put out just to see them again. I can count on my Japanese crushes to crank out 2-3 dramas a year, but it seems like whenever I find a new Korean favorite, their filmography is very limited. There must be higher powers at work.

Heh - to be fair kdramas are usually 2-3 times as long (at least) as jdramas. Someone like Lee Seo Jin who did 70 ep Yi San, with each ep over an hour long, is probably covered for life if he wanted to match an amout of jdramas a jdrama star does :)

It would be so very cute if true.

Not TRUE...says my younger sister. She says she's Kim Bum's lady love.

LMAO!

Aw. What's cool is they apparently were familiar with each other before the drama, so it wasn't totally a "fall in love on the set" thing - if true. I remember an interview ages and ages ago where she actually called him 'Bummie' - adorable.

I'm not about to 'ship them, because who knows the truth. But, I remember they were one of three reasons that I kept watching the train wreak that was the second half of BOF.

What are the other two? I presume Woo Bin and what else?

These two, Woo Bin, and, uh. . . No, it was just these two, Woo Bin, and maybe the slim possibility of the three of them running off together and leaving behind all that angst and drama.

The way BOF was written I think we can class Jan Di/Ji Hoo as the OTP of BOF. They just happened to ended up with the wrong people.
