Ladies and Gents, welcome to Cain and Abel. I normally don't watch more than two airing dramas at a time but now I am going to go for three.

I could pretend to be non-shallow and argue, in my defense, that I have wanted to see C&A ever since it was announced a couple of years ago, because I adore So Ji Sub and it's his first drama since 2004 (!!!). I could claim that I am interested in what looks like a super-intense, angsty story (does SJS ever do any other ones?) of dysfunctional families. I could say that the female lead is Han Ji Min, one of my all-time favorite Korean actresses, and that she plays a North Korean girl. Or I could mention hurt/comfort. I could go on and on but let's face it. You are not going to believe me, even if it's the truth :)

In other news, I am rather in love with this Boys Over Flowers MV (spoilers through ep 14). So good!

Darn! I can't take up yet another currently airing drama. Just can't. There's BoF and Iljimae already and then I ended up picking up a Korean soap of all things (yup, I've let go of any pretensions now *g*) to top those. Sigh, I'm so weak.

My Precious You/My Beloved Children - goes by both names. It has such a deliciously soapy plot but the cast is great. The main OTP is lovely (he's a single dad), there's an evil ex-wife with a few bats in the bellfry, cute secondary OTPs, all sorts of families, a preagnant country girl.... and Ji Hyun Woo. ;) Yeah, he's one of the reasons I started watching. My designated young'un, tops even the talent in BoF. *g* What can I say, I've always had a soft spot for the 'boy next door' types.

Aja-Aja has hardsubbed episodes up to ep 30 now (it's one of these 50-episode weekend dramas). The subbing group seems to be doing them in 10 epi batches.

I hate that I can't watch any of the mvs because I'm at work. I totally have to keep my music turned down when I listen to the BoF OST! (It's a little embarrassing, listening to Korean boy bands, but the songs are familiar and I like familiarity when I'm working.)

I've been going through some of your older posts and now I'm tempted to a) find your hyd picspams and read them, and b) maybe check out Goong even though it's totally not my style. It has Joo Ji Hoon! I could finish up Mawang tonight but I know I'm going to be totally sad when that's finished.

I've been picking up dramas off my normal genre-radar as they get mentioned throughout the flists. That's how I got to Mars, and Goong keeps coming up.

I'm currently watching Sorry, I Love You which is my first introduction to Jo Si Sub and if he satisfies me in this drama, I might watch Cain and Abel. Although the story sounds really dramatic (but what k-drama isn't?), I'm more a fan of romantically oriented melodramas rather than family oriented melodramas (which is a fact about myself that I'm annoyed with).

*I had a friend who got locked out her Hall. She was nude. She emptied out a tree in the landing and walked over to the next Hall with the plant pot over her head to get a spare key off her friend. Her logic was that ok, shewas nude, but noone would know who she was ans she wouldn't be embarrassed.*
