It's a pun. In Korean, 'the act of apologizing/asking for forgiveness' and 'apple' are homophones. I think it's also a reference to the manga, except instead of JP taking a bite out of JH's apple -- it's the other way around.

JP/JD scenes were all very adorable and squee-worthy in this episode, and it's nice to see KHJ settling into his role naturally than he did before.

He played the younger version of the main character (was in eps 2-5). I actually thought he and the woman who plays the hero's Mom were the best actors of the bunch (not that the rest were bad, but I was rather blown away by him and the Mom lady).
