Interesting v. likeable characters in current dramas

After a bit of past discussion about interesting v. likeable characters (I can deal with a drama that has no latter but not with a drama lacking in former), I decided to make a list of interesting/likeable characters for all the dramas I am following. Some are one but not the other, some are both.

Dude, just finished watching Sunao ni Narenakute episode 2 and damn, falling kinda hardcore for this drama (which I love & hate - hate because I can't wait a week+ for the episodes&subtitles and ackkkk!). I mean I liveblogged the episode and I haven't done that in a medium-sized forever. Am shocked at myself! :D

I find it interesting that "Cinderella Unni" has interesting characters but actually little likeable characters. :) From a logical standpoint, kudos to the writer and producers. But it makes me sorta sad on a heart level, since I would love to have characters who would've been my friends if they existed in real life.

Kae-in has become really likeable in the last episodes of "Personal Taste." I really, really got bored with her in the beginning. I'm glad for that.

I agree with most of the stuff you`ve written above BUT:
I am not watching Dong Yi yet- I will watch it in a couple of months-I don`t like period dramas but these posts convinced me I should give Dong Yi a try:

And DWL- This is the first time I am irritated by Michael Zhang`s character in a drama (in other dramas he didn`t play irritating characters). The fact that I am a little bit irritated with his character is a testament of Michael Zhang`s good acting but I can`t wait until his character improves (which will be soon –yes, I already watched the leaked version of the drama and now I am watching the television version). BTW Michael Zhang is my 2nd favourite famous TW actor/singer in terms of real life personality (http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Xiu_Jie_Kai is my favourite and Vic is number 3 on my list- you already know that Xiu Jie Kai are housemates and best friends, right? How great is that?! ).
AND I LOVE Yang Duo (even more than Ella`s character)- Yang Duo somehow became one of my top 5 female characters in dramas.
ALSO
I`ve decided to drop Birth of a Rich Man after episode 6 (the writing was ridiculously childish), but I got sick yesterday so I have to stay in bed for 5-7 days(I am also going to move into my new apartment a week later than planned)-that is the reason I watched episodes 14-18 of Birth of a Rich Man today(I was bored and totally had no idea what to do-I am 22 and besides menstrual pain and the time when I had chicken pox I was never sick-this is my first time that I have a flu in my life)- well I DON`T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IN EPISODES 7-13 BUT THIS DRAMA IS NOW (episodes 14-18)AWESOME-it is really enjoyable and lough out laud funny thanks to the secondary girl played by Lee Si Young(Lee Si Young totally erased her bad girl image from BOF- I can`t compliment her performance in BORM enough!!!), BUT truly everyone is enjoyable (every character is likable and well portrayed)
I AM JUST INFORMING YOU IN CASE YOU DECIDE TO GIVE THIS DRAMA A TRY IN THE FUTURE(cuz you`ve said that you like Ji Hyun Woo).

Xiu Jie Kai and Zai Zai hit it off the first time they met (on the set of Mars)-they`ve been housemates and best friends ever since. They are always present at each others functions(fan meeting, concerts,drama premiers and promotional tour events) except if one of them is out of the country.

Michael Zhang - I watched every single project of his (even all of the Mainland dramas he filmed- they were obviously not subbed and in a different dialect compared to TW dramas but I still enjoyed them -especially the basketball one which had AMAZING directing and cinematography).
He has an award winning show about wild life and Taiwanese jungles and other landscapes - That show is kinda hard to find on thee internet by I watched it too.
He also wrote a bestseller book(it is critically acclaimed and award winning book-it seems he is a good writer)and had a successful mini album.
He often guests on Show Luo`s tv show cuz they stayed friends after Outsiders (they were both in Hot Shot as well)
P.S. If you haven`t watched Hot Shot , YOU SHOULD :Michael was AMAZING as Can (that is the my favorite character he ever played) and he was really HOT in it (bad boy kinda HOT and sexy!!!)

I just remembered when anonymous accused me and others((s)he was probably talking about people from dramabeans, all kpop and soompi cuz we haven`t really discussed SW`s plastic surgery here- it was mentioned a couple of times , but it was never really discussed)of not liking Seo Woo because she had a lot of work done- Lee Si Young is a proof that is not the case (She underwent a complete face transformation but she look more natural than Seo Woo). Both actresses had a ton of plastic surgery and both are amazing actresses(I am a fan of their acting- I can` say anything bad about their acting ability. NOTHING)- Why does Seo Woo has a ton of antis and Lee Si Young does not? It is because Lee Si Young is very honest(even blunt) about herself - after BOF she came on some variety shows and she had no problem she was did surgery, she was 2 years older than what people thought she was and that she is a total country girl (she used to catch frogs in a pond when she was little). She is very professional and lovable in each and every Tv appearance.On the other hand Seo Woo refuses to admit surgery, she totally flirted with Lee Seon-gyoon during Paju promotions(it was not funny at all- it was quite disturbing actually cuz he was married at the time and very uncomfortable about her behavior)and she was incredibly rude andill-mannered on Happy together season 3 episode when CU cast was on the show (I`ve been watching Happy together S3 ever since it started and a ton of other Tv shows and I`ve NEVER seen anyone being that unprofessional and ill-mannered during a Tv appearance)
