Yes, still obsessed with Magadheera

Finished Magadheera. That movie hit every kink I had and some I didn't even know I had before this.



The whole "here, if you kill a 100 warriors in front of Our Royal Highness, we'll let the Princess go" bit might just be my favorite thing in the known Universe. Especially as she stands there watching confidently as he takes on a whole army alone. Previously smearing his own blood on his forehead as a ritualistic gesture which should be disturbing and possibly gross but is instead hot.



I also love that Mitravinda is totally turned on proud by how lethal her bodyguard/OTP is. I like a practical woman - a boyfriend like Bhairava would certainly come handy in the middle ages.

My favorite scene is where Mitravinda paints the stone wall of him bowing down to the kingdom and he realises that he truly does love her.

Oh, that was so awesome! (And the callback to it in the climax scene when he was desperately banging the drums to get her to remember - tables are totally turned). Ahhhh. That movie was like rich chocolate cake for my soul.

I totally love that as duty-bound as he was he was totally going to throw it away and confess until comet/war/battle interrupted. MMMM.

I don't think I could pick my favorite scene if I tried.

OK, this is total blasphemy but this is what Jodha Akbar should have been :)
