I totally love that Eun Jo is shutting Ki Hoon out utterly.

Because, let's face it, much as I love him, the guy deserves it.

Even if Eun Jo received his letter back way when it still wouldn't make it any better - sure it would reflect well of Hyo Sun and maybe make Eun Jo feel kinder towards him but it still would be wrong.

I mean - one letter in eight years. Asking her to wait until some indefinite point? Not bothering to call, email, or visit at any time since? In fact he only contacted the company due to the whole spying thing with his father - if it wasn't for that it might as well be twenty-eight years and not eight years until he meets Eun Jo.

That is totally not on.

So, much as I love Ki Hoon, he deserves to suffer.

Ah. I love Ki Hoon, but, okay, he was away for eight years. There is a thing called the phone. Or, you know, emailing. Something. I suppose it's possible that his father had him being watched or evil stepmother (his) made some threats toward the company/EJ to keep KH in line. And, there is the spoilers about his army time - but he could have, I don't know, done something.

Plus, I have to be honest - KH needs to get on the clue bus. There are so many things happening around him and he just seems so focused on the whole plot or whatever he's involved in.

BTW: Did you watch ep 6 or see the awesome 8 minute previews of episodes 7 and 8? Those previews are awesome. I can't wait to watch them and hear everyone's thoughts on the character and story development.

Yup, although the spoilers for eps 7 and 8 seem to shed a bit of light on why he's so genuinely astonished that she's not falling all over him. I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm kind of excited about upcoming Jung Woo/Eun Jo funtimes, Jung Woo is such an adorable, good-natured puppy and I'm really hoping that will get through to EJ.

I was thinking that there would need to be threats to make his silence less ridiculous, but then I remembered his family and how crazy they are. If he'd let on at any point that he had feelings for EJ, and therefore, a weak spot, would his brother/stepmother have tried to eliminate EJ? I think that's definitely a plot point I want to see explored.

There was a throwaway line in one of the interview scenes, when he said that he came back during every break, and then backpedaled and said he only had time to visit his family. I'm wondering if he did a bit of a drive-by stalk each time? Argh, WANT NEXT EP NOW.

I like this too. But to be fair, I think he meant to never come back, and after the initial "OMPH! I see her!" reaction he reconciled to stay away from her because he is no good for her and because he is also planning the plans of evil.

Makes sense.

Love him as a character but as a person - not so much. That's true for every character in this drama though except for Jung Woo.
