Brief thought on Cinderella Unni
Apr. 18th, 2010 11:11 pmI totally love that Eun Jo is shutting Ki Hoon out utterly.
Because, let's face it, much as I love him, the guy deserves it.
Even if Eun Jo received his letter back way when it still wouldn't make it any better - sure it would reflect well of Hyo Sun and maybe make Eun Jo feel kinder towards him but it still would be wrong.
I mean - one letter in eight years. Asking her to wait until some indefinite point? Not bothering to call, email, or visit at any time since? In fact he only contacted the company due to the whole spying thing with his father - if it wasn't for that it might as well be twenty-eight years and not eight years until he meets Eun Jo.
That is totally not on.
So, much as I love Ki Hoon, he deserves to suffer.

BTW: Did you watch ep 6 or see the awesome 8 minute previews of episodes 7 and 8? Those previews are awesome. I can't wait to watch them and hear everyone's thoughts on the character and story development.

Date: 2010-04-19 07:36 am (UTC)I was thinking that there would need to be threats to make his silence less ridiculous, but then I remembered his family and how crazy they are. If he'd let on at any point that he had feelings for EJ, and therefore, a weak spot, would his brother/stepmother have tried to eliminate EJ? I think that's definitely a plot point I want to see explored.
There was a throwaway line in one of the interview scenes, when he said that he came back during every break, and then backpedaled and said he only had time to visit his family. I'm wondering if he did a bit of a drive-by stalk each time? Argh, WANT NEXT EP NOW.
