I AM SO FRELLING PISSED!!!!

Bad Guy was going to air on SBS in May after Prosecutor Princess was going to be over but now they slated a freaking Kim Sun Ah drama I am Legend into that slot instead and are saying BG is going to air either in July or be moved to a cable channel (!!!!) because there are no slots.

I AM SO MAD I COULD KILL SOMEONE! Instead of a drama I actually want to watch, one that looks dark and complex and unusual we are going to get the usual "Kim Sun Ah is sparkly and achieves success with cutesiness and clumsiness" crap.

WHAT. THE. FUCK!

KSA just got into my good books, barely, after City Hall erased my hatred for Kim Sam Soon and her in it but yeah, back to slipping back into doghouse after this.

I am puzzled though, why replace a drama that has been building peoples' excitement and expectations with a drama that was like just announced?! I Am Legend doesn't even have a lead male yet... Bad, bad decision...

I've never been a big KSA fan (I was shocked in liking City Hall and her in it) so it's no big reversal of feeling on my part :)

It's really being postponed? That's so weird, they've been filming already for so long and "I Am Legend" is still in the casting process. I really don't get how televions works.

I'm sorry to hear that. :( I really wanted to see Bad Guy and I'm not a fan of KSA - it's because I first saw her in MNISS and, uh, that made me hate her as an actress; seems like an awesome lady, but refuse to watch her in anything. Kind of like Park Mi Sun - I don't want to watch anything with her since My Girl; though, I loved A Man's Story.


But, I have to say this - Prosecutor Princess's ratings have been less than awesome. Something which is a let down as its leads are coming off of ratings hits.


Kim Sun Ah is considered a 'name' that has brought ratings in the past and money to the box office. City Hall ended at 16.5% and My Lovely Sam-Soon ended at 37.6%. So, it stands to reason that SBS tries to get some of the ratings in May. Personal Taste will end with PP, but Cinderella Unni will still have four episodes - SBS may want to steal some of those ratings. Bad Guy will most likely do well, but SBS may be hoping I am Legend does really well and becomes a monster hit.


However, this drama has no male lead, has cast two or three characters, and sounds like a drama I've already seen - about twenty times in the last three years.

Also MNKSS had an average rating of 37.6%( the final episode had a 50,5% rating)
BUT Kim nam gil is definitely more popular compared to Kim Sun Ah RIGHT NOW (that was not the case before).

Kim Nam Gil is way more popular. I think KNG could bring the ratings more than KSA. I think her last film was only a modest success.

Re: ratings. OTOH, Kim Nam Gil is red-hot now, coming off the ratings monster QSD with its 40+% ratings. KSA's City Hall did fine and KSS excellently but When It's at Night flopped (though I liked it) so I don't really see why one of these two dramas is a better bet than the other. Especially, since as you've pointed out, they haven't even cast the lead male yet.

I guess it can`t be halped -since they are postponing Bad guy,I am going to watch Kimitaku drama in May. There is no way I`ll be watching KSA`s drama ever again- i was able to tolerate her in MNKSS(cuz that was one of the first kdramas I watched), but I could not stand her in CH(it`s the voice- her voice seriously bugs me)
P.S. Japanese spring drama season looks nice!!! Did anyone else watch the first episode of "the twitter drama"-forgot the name ?

How can you hate an actress like KSA, Hate is a big word! Did she killed one of your family member, did she stole your BF from you?
I don`t know why people can easily say the word HATE! She is not even a bad person. If she will read your comments, what do you think she would feel? If, you hear someone saying she hates you and you have done nothing wrong, what will be your reaction? You know why many people commit suicide, because there are people like you, who are stupid, narrow minded, it`s only a drama, the actress even have to do some rush filming for her drama, for this actor KNG can`t finish filming bad guy, he has to enter military service, blame that to your man...KNG, whatever his name is. KSA has nothing to do with the schedule of airing of any drama in SBS, shs`s not even the producer. To think the cast of I`am Legend is still not complete, how can an actress like KSA, be happy about the news that her drama will put in the airing schedule of Bad guy and worst thing Cinderella`s sister is on it`s last few episode, audience wont just jump to another drama, it might affect KSA drama ratings. Give the actress the benefit of the doubt. We are crazy fangirl of K-drama and I know how it feels to get frustrated, diaappointed, but blaming a person for one reason or another is not a good. It`s so depressing to see someone would say she will kill for a drama, wake-up people, we are watching K-drama to be entertain, not to be a bad person, are you being posses of bad spirit?
I suggest to those who hate SBS, write a petition to the station, I saw Bad Guy teaser and the drama is promising. Stop writing stupid things about KSA, if you don`t like her, just keep your mouth shut!

I don't hate her as a person but one can certainly hate a public performer for their performances.

Also, figurative speech, look it up. I am not literally waiving a gun at innocent people every time "I would kill for a drama " or "I'd kill for a cup of coffee."

This is actually not a blog. Livejournal is a different type of site - designed more for interaction in comments than the posts themselves. That interaction usually occurs between members of a 'friends list' as opposed to a blog where randomness reigns.

It is very unusual to get anon comments (or comments from anyone not on flist, btw).

I love Kim Sun Ah so much!!! This news got me so happy, i liked Kim Nam Gil in Queen Seon Deok and i was waiting for the both dramas. But after reading KNG's fans such cheap comments i decided not to watch Bad Guy. How can a wise person write bad things about an actress who has so many fans for just a channel desicion. Did they cansel the Bad Guy project? Of course not, why is this impatience? Well done SBS!!!

I think it's fine if you're upset about this but Kim Sun Ah isn't the director, president ot whatever of SBS, I like her job in City Hall and When it's at Night and people here are talking about things that is not in her hands.
I'm sorry for thoose who have to wait for Bad Guy but you may think that it could be that SBS is making better this drama. Still,I'm wating for KSA new drama.

Now that it looks like BG will have a definite air date, I'll settle for that and (hopefully) enjoy IAL. I don't like KSA in Kim Sam Soon (nor do I care for that drama) but I enjoyed her in City Hall and When It's at Night so hopefully IAL will be entertaining as well.

If from the beginning you sound fair to KSA, fans wont react that way...no one will feel upset.
I know you are a nice person and I`am too. Just take it into consideration that it`s a liveJournal, people would accidentally see your journal and read your comment, people are so full of hate now a days and they will just say what they want, not thinking they might hurt someone. I do criticize the acting of an actress, but using word like HATE....never!
I mean KSA is not perfect, but in one way or another you will like her not because of her acting, but because she`s a good person.
I wish you are more happy to share good thoughts. That`s all!

I keep wondering what went through SBS bigwigs' heads to decide this. So bizarre.

IAL crew must be going crazy finishing the casting and starting filming. I am afraid it will be one of those dramas where everyone films 20 hrs a day and passes out on sets - yikes. Also, starting any drama (IAL or Bad Guy) when CU has 4 eps left to run is silly. Should just stick a short drama in there or something else and wait for CU to finish.

Btw, any clue on IAL's leading man? I keep trying to figure out who is (a) age-appropriate, i.e. 30+ and (b) available. Hmmmm. I'd like to see KSA with Kang Ji Hwan (they both have great comic timing) but he's doing another drama.

You are obviously a fan. And I am too. So I'm hoping you would have known what a fan's feeling is.

I know it's your blog and you have every right to rant and rave. But I hope you will consider other people/fan's feelings too before you write something. I could get pissed off with an actor and I could rant and rant about it with my friends, but I'll think twice before writing it on public - like my blog or a fan forum. Coz I care for other fans out there who might get hurt with what I'm about to say - especially IF I KNOW THAT MY ARGUMENT IS SOMETHING IRRATIONAL.

Let's just say it's the other way around. "I Am Legend" already started filming and has a broadcast date already, and all of a sudden, a newly announced drama "Bad Guy" took over the timeslot leaving "I Am Legend" in limbo. You'll definitely feel excited coz KNG will be on a new drama. Then all of a sudden you'll read from a disappointed-KSA-fan's blog that they hate KNG for taking over the timeslot and delaying "I Am Legend"'s broadcast. How would you feel? Knowing that KNG got nothing to do with it.

Hate SBS all you want. Although I think it would still be unfair coz we can never tell what they are going through that lead to this sudden change, it's more rational to hate the production people than the mere actor who, for all we know, might be having a difficult time too with these sudden changes.

Just my two cents. KNG was great in QSD. Bad Guy is on my to-watch list. But I just feel bad reading your blog entry. :(

It wouldn't bother me, to be honest, but I understand mmv. (I remember East of Eden shipping wars and the type of stuff people kept dumping on the actors on soompi boards - even though I was a fan of a number of them, it didn't bother me).

I think SBS is pretty bizarre, I must admit. I mean, there's still no leading man. So weird. I used to think MBC was the station with more money than sense but it looks like SBS is getting ready to compete.
