KANG JI HWAN HAS A NEW DRAMA OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG with the PD of Worlds Within, and playing a novelist. To start after Oh My Lady.

You have no idea, you guys! KJH is my favorite kdrama actor EVER OMGOMGOMGOMG. And he hasn't been in a drama since Hong Gil Dong ended in early 2008.

I am trying so hard not to shriek so as not to wake Baby Mousie/make Mr Mousie think I am insane but OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.

This has just shot up to the top of my most anticipated drama of 2010 list, bypassing even *gasp* Athena.

KANG JI HWAN OMGOMGOMG.

Wow! That's great news! I've only seen Kang Ji-hwan in "Capital Scandal," and he made a good impression. It's going to be interesting to watch him again. :)

I can't wait until they cast the third lead, because that role will be KJH's love interest? PLEASE let it be a good choice of actress! (Park Shi Yeon's not really my cup of tea.)

I'm also excited that Park Jin Hee took the lead opposite Lee Bum Soo in Giant! It looks like I will now be forced to watch that drama, LOL.

I like PSY (in La Dolce Vita and Slingshot) so won't mind if she's the lead but you are right, she doesn't seem to be. Hmmm.

PSY is a good actress, but since the last thing I saw her in was My Girl, I still haven't gotten her hateful character and fake tennis-playing out of my head, and it's not good for my desire for shippy OTP :P Plus she was irritating in Family Outing; that banshee-like scream of hers! (I'm being completely unfair, I know.) In all seriousness though, I think PSY is better in more serious fare. Page One sounds light so far.

Maybe it's just three leads with more or less equal screentime (like Perfect Neighbour)? Or perhaps KJH just doesn't fall in love with the female lead, but with the second female lead (like in Hot Blood). I know in Kdrama Land it's like *GASP*, but... possible.

I take it you don't mind spoilers! *personally loves spoilers so I rarely think about it*

I've only watched a couple of episodes (the drama's kind of slow and Haru's even slower, so I'm going to wait until all the subs come out and then marathon the rest), but from what I know, male lead gets together with secondary girl first! They break up somewhere along the way and they're kind of good friends for a bit, but he admits to her that he missed her, etc. and they get back together.

Male lead + Chae Jung Ahn has some kind of connection too (he's protective of her and she's a bit like an older sister/mentor and might have some feelings for him), but he went for secondary girl. Romance in HB's kind of secondary, though. LOL I'm a bit vague because I only fastforwarded through the raws on Joonmedia and my knowledge of Korean = non-existent.

Side note: I thought it was hilarious that there were a bunch of crazy fans on Soompi who kept ranting that secondary female + male lead CANNOT HAPPEN because male lead HAS to end up with female lead! Chae Jung Ahn's listed above Jo Yoon Hee on DramaWiki, so therefore she should end up with Park Hae Jin! Comedy gold.

Chae Jung Ahn's listed above Jo Yoon Hee on DramaWiki, so therefore she should end up with Park Hae Jin! Comedy gold.

Aahahahahaha - I've seen that insanity on soompi during East of Eden when people kept insisting Song Seung Heon's character couldn't end up/love Lee Yeon Hee's because Lee Da Hae was listed first/was bigger star even though LDH and he barely had any interactions and he spent dozens of episodes pining for LYH. Heh.
