1. Proving my utter shamelessness, I purchased a Harlequin romance in which a small-town girl purchases a bachelor at a charity auction in order to bring him home for her parents' anniversary as her date. She thought she bid on a paramedic but instead ended up with an Irish gigolo. We all make these small mistakes from time to time. It's ridiculously entertaining, if not for the reasons the author intended. Best thing? It's on Kindle and for all anyone knows I am reading a weighty tome on the economics of small businesses in the Niger River Delta.

2. Go see How to Train Your Dragon. It was adorable!

3. Look at this awesome MV for my Chuno OTP, Song Tae Ha/Kim Hye Won (it spoils the whole drama btw).

Guuuuh, I just can't get over these two. They have become one of my all-time favorite drama OTPs - because yes, they have so much swoony chemistry and are just character-compatible, and look so amazing together - he is so masculine and she is so very feminine, eee. But also because I just love both of them as characters so much - Tae Ha is my favorite drama character ever except for Hyun Joon (from IRIS) and Hye Won/Un Nyun is just amazing - strong, and brave, and clever, and restrained, and someone who, just like Tae Ha, didn't allow her horrible past to diminish her. I still can't get over the fact that my OTP was allowed to have a happy ending. In a period drama! Thank you, PD Kwak!

4. Seeing that the three big Wednesday-Thursday dramas are about to start, we get a spate of pictures. I adore adore adore this one:



That's Lee Min Ho and Son Ye Jin at the press conference for Personal Taste. I mainly swoon for the fact that even in those enormous heels she still barely reaches his shoulder. *happy sigh*

I don't think I'll be able to check out either Taste or Cinderella Unni asap though - viikii doesn't sub KBS/MBC dramas right away any more so I'll have to wait for proper subs.

Are high waters seriously in right now? Because they look ridiculous. As does his jacket... and Son Ye Jin's dress isn't anything to write home about. Basically, I think I hate everything they are wearing.

I shouldn't be so negative... I'm excited/anxious about the drama though!

I kinda like her dress I confess. I didn't notice his jacket but now that I look at it - OMG, why why whyyyyyy? ugh. Korean fashion never makes sense to me.

Yes, high-riding pants are in, in kdrama world (you can also see them on Song Il Gook in A Man Called God - though for your own sake, stay away from that drama for many other reasons). I hate it - looks like they couldn't afford pants of proper size.

Her dress has the potential to be cute (minus the jacket), but the way they've made the seams drop in the front of the dress makes it look sloppy and gives her a belly she doesn't have.

Maybe it's a combination of the short pants, his jacket making his top half look huge, and camera angle (or maybe it's genetics), but Lee Min Ho's feet look tiny.

OMPH! This MV is looooooovely. Thank you so much to whoever made it. (Good height difference too - I am not terribly short myself, but I like my men tall).

I remember someone on soompi saying there were not enough OTP-build moments for UN/TH ? Do these people watch the same show as I do???? The moment where TH took the baby off UN to give her some space to talk to DG was sooooooo good too - when he came back she said "don't ever leave me". ** swoons ** Poor DG.

I thought there were so many - I love the gradual build-up of their relationship - with the fact that they save each other, are intellectually and emotionally compatible, and have wicked chemistry thrown into the mix.

I feel bad for DG (poor man) but I do love that the drama was willing to show that people do move on - find new loves, grow out of the kind of person they were etc.

I feel bad for DG/UN shippers but I've seen some hate of UN for being 'uncaring' and I don't get that - she still has strong feelings for DG but she loves her husband - who is not only worthy of love but is someone she met after a decade of believing her old lover dead. How could she not move on? Should she NEVER move on? That is unrealistic.

Thanks for posting this mv...Im all smiling watching it:) I mean they are one of my favorite kdrama couples. I mean TH/HW have a lot of moments together. The way they look at each other......attraction, chemistry, love :)
I am thinking Oh Ji Ho and Lee Da Hae spent a lot of times together in Chuno because most of Lee Da Hae's scenes are with him right?

I like Oh ji ho with his beard though cuz he looks in his rugged self..hot!
It will be hard for me to find another drama worthy to watch. I mean after Iris I thought I was going to stop but I could not resist not seeing another Lee Da Hae's drama :)

I have just shamelessly re-watched the MV for the 4th time in a row. I must go nad thank seeme too.

I feel bad for UN/DG shippers too(and I ship them as well) but I could not see any logical way for these two to be together even if TH was killed-off (apart from the whole "She loves TH now. How can she make herself un-love him?") . I also think Oh Ji Ho and Lee Da Hae have stacks of chemistry together.

How to train your Dragon is adorable!!! I watched it already twice, once alone, once with friends, and already plan to watch it with my mom again. ^^ It's just so great! Dreamworks gave me a surprising beautiful ending.

OMG, Lee Min Ho looks still as handsome as ever. I can't stop wanting to dream with him again. *grin*

yes, this mv by seeme is so wonderful. i just could not stop watching it over and over again. same here, i really feel sad about DG/UN shippers. before knowing the endig, i was even writing on soompi that i wish there was a way for DG and UN be together without sacrificing TH (because i really saw that coming) and when chuno ended, i felt even worse for DG fans.
BUT, the way DG character was written, he could not have anyother ending but this. whereas TH had so many potentials left in his characters that was not achieved.
TH/UN is my most favourite OTP of all time. i don't think i will like anyother couple the way i like these two together. and TH and UN have come a long way together and deserve to be together.
i remember reading someone on soompi, comparing with DG , TH just came along and was married to UN already. it's true in a way, but i really could see the stages they went through to be that much in love with eachother. i am so thankful that they left no doubt about UN love for TH in last ep. i was always troubled by this thought.
as for OJH, YESSS, he should stay rugged and unkempt and scruffy heheh he looks much hotter this way. heheh

I thought it wasn't 'just married so easily' - they really fell in love and grew together (and I agree, last ep was the best to see that UN loved TH fully as much as he loved her).

I so completely agree with everything you said here about Chuno and Tae Ha and Hye Won/Un Nyun. I just finished watching it recently and they have to be hands down my favourite couple so far in anything. Every scene with them I was going to die with how much I loved them. *sigh*
