Random update

1. Picspams of ep 24 of Chuno (so very perfect!) and ep 9 of Swallow the Sun (now with 200% more primary and secondary OTP pain) coming up - I am uling the pics.

2. I have finally watched ep 2 of Oh My Lady - so hilarious. Though I wanted to stab the hero in the face when he seriously contemplates (on impulse) ditching a mute 5-yr-old girl on the street because OMG otherwise it may come out she is his newly-found illegitimate daughter and scandal will ruin his career. Am not too mad as he's shown to have the maturity of a 3 yr old and brain power of a plank (but the abs of a God :P), so I bet he didn't think that one through at all. Also, he angsts well. I approve. I adore heroine, btw.

3. After last ep of Chuno, they had a longer trailer for Cinderella Unni - the more I see of it, the less I like it. Seriously. It's just not good. The crazed shouting and OTTness however at least promises campy territory - hopefully it will be campy so and not just emo dull. From the preview, I am rooting for Seo Woo - MGY looks sullen and discontented - tough luck, you had a hard life - no excuse to make yourself the biggest party killer since the Black Plague.

4. As I said, picspams are coming up (I need to sift through 500+ pics) but for now have a taste. Mmmm, mercenary weeping for his lost OTP (taken back to Korea by her father) in the strip bar she used to work? Priceless.

OMG FIST-BITING ANGST. Am seriously pondering watching StS now. But ugh, Sung Yuri.

And re: OML and Cinderella Unni - word. I had timing duties for OML so I can pretty much recite you the script by now, but it is still good! Need more heroine whipping/bullying/abusing hero!goodness. Cinderella Unni looks all visual and no substance; I have no idea what the PD's trying to go for!

Awww, you don't like Sung Yuri? Her character is pretty awesome in this though and it's a huge ensemble drama so she's not on screen all the time.

OML is deliciously hilarious. I totally love how Chae Rim has got him where she wants him! He is so dim and in need of someone taking him in hand :)

CU looks pretty bad - plus, I already dislike the sullen heroine - plenty of kdrama characters grow up in adversity (it's basically a staple!) and are good, cheerful, or at least loyal to their friends, people. She just seems like a bag of selfish misery.

You are totally on the verge of convincing me to give StS a try ;_; Maybe after I force myself to sit through the remaining 8 episodes of Pasta! This might even convert me to Sung Yuri :P

Have you seen the stills that JB posted a couple of days ago? All the excessive picspamming promotion they're doing is making me MORE confused about what they're trying to go for, because I swear he's secretly just having a laugh about all this. Those scenes of Taec and CJM "fighting" in the snow? IT CANNOT BE SERIOUS.

I think SY started out awful (1000 Years of Love and Love of Prince, OMG) but IMO she's gotten good now. I actually really like her.

And CU, yes! She just looks like she's wallowing in misery so that she can get two hotties to follow after her like puppies (though I don't blame her for this...)

it's just - where is your spunk, girl? It's like they made a drama with the evil sister from Brilliant Legacy as the heroine instead (I didn't mind her scheming, it's her victim/moping that drove me nuts).

I laughed so hard. They looked like they were breakdancing! WTF?

Also, why so much snow for a drama that starts March 31? Seriously. Even in Korea, it isn't going to be snowy much longer!

I've only seen her in what little I watched of One Fine Day, and it was just baaaaddd. I spent the whole time wondering WHAT Gong Yoo saw in her character. She kind of broke through in HGD though, didn't she? I guess she just needed to be given a good script and a departure from the super cliche kdrama female characters, and Enok was that. Unfortunately, the sad ending means that even my love for Kang Ji Hwan won't get me to watch HGD, so maybe my opinion of Sung Yuri will have to wait til StS to change :P

Except the evil sister from Brilliant Legacy was awesome! She had different layers to her personality and it was interesting. Here, it looks like MGY's just running around going "MY LIFE IS SUCKS, I AM SO MISUNDERSTOOD." For 16 episodes.

I seriously thought Taec and CJM picked up the wrong script and thought they were in a Chinese martial arts movie, or a wuxia drama. Where else can you get those photographic flying kicks? LOLLL. I'm kind of amazed that they still haven't released more information about the actual story or cast beyond Taec saying "it's not your typical Cinderella tale" or w/e. They are a week away from broadcast and we only have bad stills XD

Awww, I kinda like OFD. It's like Autumn Concerto but without anyone dying :)

Her character wasn't memorable but it wasn't written to be anything amazing. The one who bored me t death in it was secondary guy.

I am just a sucker for melodrama I guess :)
