Yesssss! Most of first ep is backstory but they manage to cram even that full of angst and epic amounts of h/c. I was impressed.

Plus, so many kickass women in this drama! *sigh* These guys should be mandated to be advisors on every kdrama romcom to make sure the girls in those don't come across as idiots.

Also, if you do progress past ep 1 and get to eps 2-4 etc, let me know whether I am insane in seeing insane slash vibes between hero and his employer's son.

Yeah - I think their subs are actually higher quality than Withs2, but they always take a long time. (This was part of the reason I didn't watch StS as it aired - other part was I wanted to make sure of the ending).

I mean, they are still subbing Hot Blood and that ended months ago (I plan to marathon that one when it's done). I think viikii has one of those stupid licensing things about AMCG.

Yes, I think Haru Haru subs are much better than anyone else's too - "When it's at night" had some awesome translations/explanations of many complex arty words and some very nifty conversations too. With S2 are second best, but with Chuno the use of the word "slattern" by the subber when DG was talking to UN is really my big bee-in-a-bonnet. They stopped using it so much since my ranty posts on soompi - do the subbers read soompi, I wonder?

But I thought WIAN subs were by BON? They are also great but slow. It took them a year to sub WIAN I believe.

I don't know if all subbers read soompi, but Mister X, who is subbing Chuno, does - he popped up on the thread a couple of times. I don't have the same slattern association btw - I've seen it enough in older novels where it's not related to hooking. But I understand the concern.

Btw, leading girl in Rich was evil secondary girl in Save the Last Dance. I have no idea if they are still together but for a while she and Ji Sung (in Swallow the Sun) were dating, which totally amused me because he was the lead in Dance and spent the whole drama trying to escape her clutches :P

Actually, I am not surprised - I know you liked him with the lead lady in "Save the Last Dance" but I thought that they didn't have to much chemistry together (I even thought that Eugene in a bad actress, but she was SHINY in "creating destiny" so that's not it) and he looked better with the secondary girl.

I've seen it used as dirty too but dirty as in 'not washed in a while' not dirty as in 'diseases due to being a prostitute.'

A Man Called God is so cheesy that's it has crossed over to 'Campy' territory for me. It's almost as outrageous as Austin Powers. I watch it for the laughs (and the OTP of course). It has to be intentional right? At least I hope so!

Mousie, this has nothing to do with your post above, but have you seen the movie A Good Rain yet? It's the first Jung Woo-Sung movie I've seen since A Moment to Remember, which I recall you enjoying, and while I'm not done with it yet, I think this would be right up your alley.
