First Spring Drama is a hit!

I have just finished the first ep of Oh My Lady (available on viikii, no region restrictions) and...

I am in love!!!!!

It was utterly hilarious - I laughed out loud repeatedly (the whole drama is worth it just for that opening scene alone), full of delicious hormonalness (I kinda space out staring at Siwon's abs :P), and already had that underpinning of heart which makes all the difference with a drama (I loved Chae Rim with her little daughter - if that wasn't sniffworthy, I don't know what is).

It moves fast, has two main characters I already love - Chae Rim is loud and brash and confident and much too impulsive and Siwon is a sweet, dim darling. The whole premise of a talentless superstar (popular for his looks) and plucky divorced ahjumma trying to provide for her daughter = win.

So, go watch.

It's awesome!

I just watched the first minutes of it...

I loved the tongue in cheek humour about kdrama land: the good looking but bad actor, the fans unconditionnal love for him, etc... and THE hilarious love song which goes something like : "Whatever I eat I'm not full..."

Will wait to watched it completely sub.

That song made me laugh so hard - such a great parody of those OTT ballads they love to stick in angsty dramas - having enjoyed my share of angstorrific dramas with bad actors, I reveled in the opening. I would SO watch the drama Siwon was making!
